(F/S) - Favorite Snack

[ Your age - Around 5 or 6 ]

You happily ran in the fields of Hyrule as your father, Link, playfully chased you around.

"You can't catch me Daddy!" You giggled happily as the Hero of Hyrule continued to chase you around, "Oh, I'll get you, (Y/N)!"

Zelda, your mother, happily watched you chase each other around as she sat on the soft blanket.

The Guards had finally let you three out onto a picnic, but they only allowed it if Link carried around the Master Sword, which was weighing him down from catching you.

You happily ran towards your mother and tackled her into a hug, "(Y-Y/N)!" She said surprised from your hug

"Mommy?"

"Yes, sweetie?"

"What did you bring for lunch?"

"Well.." she smiled softly and reached into the basket, pulling out your favorite snack.

"(F/S)!!" You smiled brightly as you took the snack from your mother and bit into it, "Thank you mommy!"

She nodded, and smiled as she watched you happily eat your all time favorite snack in the entire world.

Link sat down behind you, placing a hand onto both Zelda and Your shoulders, "My two favorite people in the world." He said with a smile

"Daddy!" You smiled brightly as you sat yourself down onto his lap.

"Zelda, what else is in that magical basket of yours?"

"Well.. we have some sandwiches."

"I'll take one of those."

Zelda handed Link a sandwich, and grabbed one for herself.

OH CAN YOU JUST BE QUIET

It was mid-day as the three began to pick up their little picnic, and three of you somehow managed to all fit on Epona, and went back to the castle.

Although on the way back, you kinda got surrounded..

"M-Monsters!" You shouted as you tried to hide yourself from them.

Link hopped off his horse and pulled out the master sword, "Zelda, take (Y/N) and get out of here. Use Naryu's love to make sure you get there safely."

"W-What about you?"

"I'll be fine, I have 4 bottles filled with your soup, remember?" He smiled at you two, then slapped Epona and the two of you were off.

Zelda held onto you tightly as she rode Epona towards the castle, having millions of thoughts rush through her brain at once.

"Mommy? Is Daddy going to be ok?"

"Of course he is, he's our hero, remember?"

"Yeah, nothing beats Daddy!" You threw a fist into the air and smiled.

The two of you reached the castle, Zelda hopping off, grabbing you and setting you down onto the concrete.

"Z-Zelda! Where's Link?" Impa asked the queen

"He's fighting a mob of Ganon's minions, im putting on my armor and going out there to help him. While I'm gone, I want you to take care of (Y/N)."

"But Zelda, it's to Dangerous!"

"And it's too dangerous for him to be alone." Zelda did some magic stuff and was in her armor thing //Her Hyrule Warriors outfit •3• //

"(Y/N), I want you to know that whatever happens, Mommy and Daddy will always love you." she smiled, kissing your forehead.

She hopped onto Epona, speeding off to help Link.

The moon was out, and there was no sign of Link or Zelda anywhere.

"I-Impa?" You walked towards the captain as you held your stuffed animal close to your chest

"Yes, (Y/N)?"

"When are Mommy and Daddy coming back?" You asked her as tears began to fall from your face.

"I-I don't know... I'm sorry."

Tears fell from your face as you embraced Impa in a hug, crying into her chest.

The door to the room flew open, "Don't cry, (Y/N)."

You and Impa looked towards the double doors, and saw Link and Zelda standing there with small smiles on their faces.

They were bruised and injured sure, but it all matters that they made it home.

"That's right, (Y/N), there's no need to cry. We're here now."

You immediately ran towards the two, your arms open wide and tears running down your cheeks as you tackled them in a group hug.

"There there, it's ok, (Y/N)." They smiled, kissing your forehead.
