Liam and I have been “dating” for a week now. We have been at charity event left and right. I think this ridiculous plan might actually work. Liam has been getting noticed for the good things that he’s doing instead of the multiple bad things that he’s done in the past. I guess that’s good. I mean ‘yay, he’s loosing the bad boy image’ but I wish it would happen sooner so that I can get him out of my life forever. Not because I hate him, no not this time, but because I’m starting to care about him. That is probably the worst possible outcome possible! This can’t happen. No bueno! No bueno! I opened the door to the office and walked in. I looked over at Mike and Josh, then over at Liam who winked at me. I realized that Mike was moving his mouth, but I couldn’t hear anything. Duh! That’s because I had my earphones in.
“Oops, sorry. I didn’t even notice that I had these in. Sorry.” I said before sitting down. “What were you saying?” I said setting my bag on my lap.
“We were just saying you guys are doing a great job.” Mike said sliding a folder towards us. Inside there were magazines and articles about us. Also, there were a ton of pictures of us hugging and looking happy and stuff.
“Yes, a lot of people are buying it.” Josh said.
“But…” Mike said looking at us.
“But what?” Liam asked.
“But, there are still a lot of people who don’t believe you guys are actually dating. They saying you guys aren’t showing enough love.” Josh said.
“So we looked at some of the Hollywood couples today.” Mike said giving us another folder. This one was filled of couples hugging and kissing and holding hands and touching and feeding each other.
“This is what you need to look like.” Josh said.
“That’s all.” Mike said. I took the folder and slipped it in my purse. The only difference between these couples and us is that those couples are actually in love and we’re faking it. We walked out of the office and Liam’s hand slipped into mine as we walked to the elevator.
“Are you hungry? Because I’m starving.” He said smiling down at me.
“Yea.” I said nodding.
“You wanna get something to eat?” He asked letting me walk into the elevator first.
“Sure.” I said smiling.
“So, they say we have to act more lovey dovey.” He said.
“Yup.” I said quietly.
“Well, I have an idea on how we could do that.” He said bringing me closer to him. His hands moved down to my waist as his face inched closer to mine. “Except you won’t let me kiss you.” He said smirking.
“I don’t feel like I’m ready to kiss you yet.” I said looking up at him.
“I respect that.” He said gipping onto my hand again right as the elevator door opened. “We can wait as long as you want.” He said smiling before pecking my cheek.
“Thanks.” I said smiling as he led us out the door of the studio. Of course the paparazzi was all over us for some pictures. We smiled and pretended to be in love. We got into his car and his hand immediately engulfed mine. I looked out the window while he drove.
“Where do you wanna eat?” He asked squeezing my hand. I turned my head to look at him.
“Um. I don’t know. Wherever you want.” I said smiling weakly.
“Ok.” He replied smiling. We drove for a while before pulling up at this small café. We walked in, hand in hand before being seated at one of the booths. The waitress came over and had us order. I ordered a burger with fries and Liam ordered the special burger or whatever. We both got vanilla milkshakes. The waitress left us and Liam was just staring at me. I started blushing.
