And So It Begins

My peaceful sleep was cut short by the sound of my blaring ringtone in my ears. I answered my phone.

“What the hell do you want?” I grumbled into the phone.

“Now, that’s no way to talk to your boyfriend.” His voice entered my ears.

“Boyfriend?” I asked confused.

“I forgot how clueless you are when you wake up.” He said laughing into the phone. His laugh caused me to smile for a little bit before I realized what I was doing and stopped.

“Oh yea, we are fake dating. Oops.” I mumbled into the phone tiredly.

“Yes babe, we’re dating.” He said happily.

“Whatever. What is your reason for calling me so early?” I grumbled.

“Rosey, it’s 11:30 a.m. how long do you sleep?” He asked laughing.

“Shut up!” I yelled.

“Aww did I make you mad?” He asked and I could hear the smile in his voice.

“Yes. You douche! What do you want?” I asked angrily while rolling out of my bed.

“You have an interview at 1:30.” He said.

“Ok. Bye!” I said hanging up. I went to my closet and got one of those high low dresses. I went to the bathroom and took a nice long shower. I got out, brushed my teeth, and curled my hair. I grabbed a pair of gold heels and went downstairs. I grabbed a bright green apple before plopping on the couch and turning on the television. The first thing to come on was gossip.

“Are America’s two favorite people finally making it official? Rumor has it America’s sweet heart, Athena Winters, and America’s bad boy, Liam Avery, are going out. Resent tweets from the two talk about love. Take a look for your self.” She showed the tweets we sent to each other. “Athena tweets: Love is in the air. Anyone else been bit by the love bug? –A Then Liam quickly replies: Yea, I got bit to. Maybe the same bug bit us. I don’t know about you, but this sounds like a couple flirting over twitter. Are Athena and Liam going out? Send us some tweets of your own responding to this situation.” She stopped talking and it went on commercial break. I got a call.

“Hello.” I said happily as I took the final bite of my apple.

“Hello, we are here.” Jason, my bodyguard, said.

“Okay. I’ll be out in a second.” I said before hanging up the phone. I threw away the apple and stepped out side. My two bodyguards greeted me and escorted me to my limo. We drove to the place of my interview. Today I’m getting interviewed by Megan Williams. She is the top person in interviewing entertainers of today. When we arrived I stepped out of the car and mobs of paparazzi came around me. They were snapping pictures and yelling my name and questions. My bodyguards pushed me through them into the building. When I reached the inside a hand immediately grabbed mine. I looked up to see Liam’s face.

“What are you doing here?” I shot at him.

“Supporting my girlfriend. Duh!” He said bringing me closer to him. He kissed my forehead. I put a fake smile on and pecked his cheek.

“That’s so sweet.” I said gushing loud enough for people to hear.

“Anything for you babe.” He said just as loud.

“Aww, look at the happy couple.” This lady with a clipboard said coming towards us. “Macy Sumpters.” She said shaking our hands. “Head producer.” She said smiling. “You guys must be Athena and Liam.” She said smiling. We nodded our head. “Alright, well Athena will be going in about 5 minutes. That’s it. I’m sure you guys have been to a million of these so you don’t need me to tell you what to do.” She said smiling. “You can wait back stage.” She said. We walked into the backstage room and I instantly removed my hand from Liam’s and sat on the couch crossing my arms.
