Emiko's POV
It's my boss. What could he possibly want now? "Emiko, can you come in today? We're short a staff member." I sigh. He knew it was my day off too. "Fine I'll be there in a couple of minutes."
"Thank you so much Emiko." I hang up and stand up to get my car keys. Nash noticed me get up and he got up as well. "Can I come too? I mean if it's ok with you?" I could've sworn I saw him blush. I giggled and nodded. "Sure my boss won't mind."
Nash's POV
Why did my cheeks heat up? I just met her! I think I might have zoned out because Emiko waved her hand in front of my face. "Are you ok? You spaced out."
"Huh? Oh yea I'm fine." She rose an eyebrow, but I think she believes me.
Carter's POV
I noticed Nash wasn't with us and so was Emiko. "Did anyone see where Emiko went?" Her mother poked her head out of kitchen. "Probably went to work. She works two shifts at the Cupcake store down the street." I nodded and got up. If it's down the street it shouldn't take long.
