Chapter 19

same POV
I gave in and she put the cupcakes in the oven and the pre made frosting in the fridge. I distracted Cam while she got everything ready. When she was ready and Cam was in position, we had a snag. Jack G was with him. *crack. splash* Miki came out from where she was hiding. She mouthed 'O' and tried to escape. Glinsky caught with her and koala hugged her. "Jack! Eww stop!" He hugged her even tighter. I bursted into laughter.
Emiko's POV
I tried to get out of the messy koala hug, but it didn't work. "C'mon Jack! Ok ok let go!" He laughed and let go. "Don't pull another prank and this won't happen." I puffed out my cheeks and crossed my arms. "It wasn't for you, so there." I stuck my tongue and went back to the kitchen. The cupcakes were finished and I took them out of the oven. Mom came into the kitchen and saw my cupcakes. "They look good Zami. Do you need help frosting them?" I shook my head and turned her around. "Enjoy yourself!" She chuckled and left.
*time skip*
"Goodnight ma." I kissed her forehead and turned off her lights. I went back downstairs and saw Nash eating my cupcake. "Hey! That's mine!" He turned around and got up. "Oops." I saw frosting on his lips and shook my head.
Nash's POV
I looked at Emi and rose an eyebrow. She moved closer to me. It was a gap between us, so I decided to close it. Her face turned beat red. "Yo-you have something o-on your face, I was- hmph!" I couldn't resist and I kissed her. I felt her hand go around my neck and we stayed there. "If you wanna make out, get a room." We pulled away and saw Carter on the stairs. Emi moved away from me and went to the backyard. "Miki wait!!" I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "Knew you couldn't be trusted." I heard mumble and went after her.
Carter's POV
I saw Miki sitting in a pool chair. "Hey..... Are you ok?" She turned around and what I saw surprised me. She had tears on her face. Most girls would squeal if they got to kiss Nash. Miki shook he head and turned back around. I sat next to her and put my around her shoulders. "Was that your first kiss?" She looked up at me and halfway nodded. "Liam doesn't count. I made sure of that."
"Then why are you crying? I mean most girls would kill to be in your spot." She giggled and oh how I loved her giggle. "It was just unexpected and I kinda have mixed feelings."
"And?"
"And I have another crush,but I'm scared he'll reject me." I kissed her forehead. "Who would reject someone like you?"
"You would be surprised if I told you."
I chuckled and we ended up chatting for a really long time. I check my phone and realized it was 3:30. "Miki, it's getting late. We should head inside." She stood up and stretched.
Emiko's POV
After parting ways with Carter, I headed upstairs. I turned the corner and bumped into someone. "I'm sorr- oh hey." I looked up and saw Nash. "Hey.... Emi look, I'm sorry." I tried to move out of the way, but he grabbed my arm. "Emiko, I don't want this to ruin our friendship." I turned and faced him. "It won't ruin anything Nash I promise." I hugged him and walked away. "Oh and before I forget, I need to braid your hair."
