Chapter 25

After the conversation with Nash, I told him I had to go to work. "I'll talk to you when I get back."
"When will that be?"
"Around 5 because my mom's appointment is at 6." Nash's eyes widen. I went to leave and as soon as I reached the door I heard "I'm sorry this happened to you." I turned and smiled. "Don't worry about it." While heading to the stairs, I ran into Carter. "Hey Miki."
"Hey. What's up?"
"I was wondering if I can go with you to your mother's appointment."
"Sure. Not to be rude but why do you want to come?"
"I wanna support you all the way." I giggled. "That seems fair. Be ready at 5:50, got it?"
"Got it!" He hugged me and I hugged him back. After my little encounter with him, I hurried to the kitchen to find Chad cooking breakfast. "Hey Chad."
"Good morning Ms. Suzohara. Care to have to have breakfast with Mr. Caniff?" I saw Taylor wave and me with his mouth full. I laughed and nodded. "Sure why not?" I sat next to him and Chad handed me a plate. "So Emiko...."
*time skip*
"I see. So you like both of them, but you don't want to choose." I nodded at Taylor's summary. "I don't know what to do!" I banged my head in the table. "Ow."
"That's what you get."
