You slowly started coming to consciousness, blinking away the sleep from your eyes. You were still in the living room lying on the couch. The events from the day before came rushing to your mind. "BEN?" You asked, sitting up and looking around for said killer. There was no one else in the daylight flooded room.

After thoroughly scanned the room, you got up and checked the time, "Hm... 10 isn't too late." You muttered to yourself, deciding to go upstairs to your room. You changed out of your clothes from yesterday and into black jeans and a (F/c) T-shirt. You stared into the mirror that hung from your wall, brushing out your (H/l) (h/c) locks. "Where did BEN go?" You wondered aloud, setting down your brush. He may be a killer, but you also considered him a friend, even though he has tried to kill you multiple times. In school you never really had many friends other than your one best friend who seemed to befriend everyone she met.

You smirked, "Maybe I could hang out with her today..." You said, setting down the brush, and went back down the stairs. Your phone sat on the counter where your mom had left it yesterday after your 'accident'. You grabbed it, sending a quick text to (best friend's name) asking if you could go over. How long had it been since you last went anywhere besides work or school? You shook your head and waited to hear back. Once your phone buzzed with the reply of yes, you locked up the house and left, hoping BEN still wasn't inside. It wasn't like he responded when you had called earlier, so he can't expect you to stay home all day. Besides, he's a killer and doesn't rule your life. At least you hoped.

Your phone went off again when you were turning off the corner from your street. "So you left without a goodbye." It said from the unknown number from yesterday. You smirked and typed back a reply, "What? Did you want a kiss before I left?" You joked, laughing quietly to yourself under your breath. "That would have been nice." BEN texted back. Your cheeks flushed with embarrassment and you put your phone away. BEN was strange to you, his life a concept you couldn't quite grasp. You considered asking about his life when you got back, if he was still there that is. Not that you wanted him to stay or anything! You could care less if he was gone.

The light green house of your friend came into view as you turned onto her street. You grinned, seeing her wave from the window. You waved back and ran down the rest of the street. She met you outside in her yard and smiled, "It's so great to see you (y/n)! Outside of school that is." She said. You smiled in return. That's (best friend's name) for you. Always happy and joking around. "Come on! I have LOTS to show you!" She squealed and grabbed your hand, dragging you inside. You smiled and followed along, glad to have some normality in life.
