You sighed, staring at the bright screen much as you had done just two days before. Why? Your Deviantart was over flowing with messages.

"Why do you watch so many people?" BEN asked, sitting next to you on a chair taken from the dining room. You had decided to stay in your room tonight, BEN trailing along to make sure nothing happened. "Do you have a problem with that?" You asked, glancing over at the killer next to you. He leaned his head on his hand and stared as you deleted messages. "Yes. It's wasting time." He muttered, his voice muffled. You rolled your eyes and continued along with your business. "What were you planning on doing?" You asked curiously. Silence met your question as BEN stood up. He left the room silently.

A few moments passed and he didn't return. You continued to stare at the screen lazily. You couldn't tell how long it had been when you snapped out of your drowsy trance and looked around, your eyes only closed for a minute. "BEN?" You asked, surprised he had not returned yet. You figured he wound have just waited outside your room till you finished. You logged off your computer and stood up, pushing back the chair quietly. "BEN? You out there?" You asked, walking slowly towards the door. Silence filled the air as your unease grew. You huffed a sigh and walked out of your room into the dim hallway. "This isn't funny BEN." You muttered, glancing at the closed doors along the hallway. You walked past them all, too nervous to check the rooms.

Finally you reached the stairs, your heart pounding in your chest in the growing silence. "BEN, come on already." You said, confidence draining. You raced down the steps, not trusting yourself enough not to have a heart attack if you went slowly. It was darker than you remembered coming home to, only one light shining in the kitchen. Creeping towards the room, you shook uncontrollably. Memories of a day ago rushed into your brain from the last scare the killer gave you. You froze, nearly breaking down. Why did he do this to you? Why did he enjoy terrorizing you so much?

A horrible sound caught your attention, something similar to flesh tearing. It echoed through the house, coming right from the kitchen. You cringed at the sound of blood splattering and muscles ripping apart. A dark liquid crept out from around the kitchen corner, reflecting awfully red from the single light. You gagged, never imagining the sight of that blood coming from your own house.

Suddenly a pair of red eyes peered out from the kitchen, fresh blood staining its face and wide, psychotic grin. BEN laughed a hand popping out and waving from around the corner, a hand clearly not belonging to him. "Glad you could join us (y/n). I was just talking to your friend for a moment." He dropped the hand in the puddle of blood, causing a sickening splash. A scream ripped from your throat, mixed with tears as the head of your best friend rolled into site. BEN walked out of the kitchen, his hands, face, and clothes stained with blood. You stumbled back, falling down in a sobbing, terrorized mess.

"You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" The killer chuckled with a grin, jumping you in an instant. His hands gripped at your shoulders, unnatural strength pulling you apart. You could feel the bones being torn from their sockets, the skin spreading and ripping apart. Screams filled the room as black covered your vision from pain, leaving those two red irises being the last thing you saw.

"(Y/n)... (Y/n)!"

You jumped awake, panting. Tears streaked your face and your hands gripped onto the desk in front of you. BEN was staring at you in clear worry, hands on your shoulders to shake you awake. You released your grip on the desk and wrapped your arms around your shaking form. "It... it was just a dream..." You sobbed, shutting your eyes tight. It had seemed so real; the sounds, the blood, and even BEN tearing you apart.

BEN sighed, "You were having a nightmare and screaming your head off. I think you woke the whole neighborhood." You glanced outside your window, the moon half shining in the dark sky. You must have fallen asleep on the computer when BEN left. "I'm... sorry." You said tears subsided. BEN sat down on the edge of your bed, gesturing for you to join him. You rose to your feet, still shaking slightly, and sat down next to him on the (f/c) comforter.

"Why don't you tell me about it?" BEN offered. You nodded, "It was dark in the house and... there was a horrible sound coming from the kitchen. I went to check it out since you weren't back from what ever you were doing. It-it sounded like flesh being torn apart and there was blood and you- you..." Your breathing quickened on the verge of hyperventilation. BEN grabbed your shoulders and leaned you against his chest, rubbing your arms as soothingly as a killer can. "It's alright. Nothing happened." A few minutes passed, a calm silence filling the air.

"Do you want to try again?" BEN offered. There was no reply. "(Y/n)?" He asked, glancing down. You had fallen asleep, peacefully leaning against BEN. The killer smiled and leaned back so you were lying down comfortably. "Never mind (Y/n). Just sleep." He whispered and gently kissed your forehead, before falling asleep himself.
