Its been two months since anyone has seen Ainsley. The summer has come and gone and everyone is still heartbroken. The days are dull and dark, so dark its as if it isn't even summer.

Stiles sat in his car, staring out the windshield. His eyes were blank and a bit swollen from yet another cry session. Its been weeks since Ainsley left or 'went missing'. Nobody really knows what happened to her and that is the devastating part.
Derek had said that she got a strange phone call that day but he didn't hear what was said.
Stiles saw the lights in the living room shining through the windows, confirming his dad was home. Quietly, he stepped out of his jeep and made his way to the front door.
Before entering, he wipes the mud off of his shoes. With his head down, he opens the door and steps into the house.
However, his hopes of sneaking to his room go down the drain when he hears a throat clear a few feet in front of him.
"Hey kid.." His dad says quietly, as if afraid to set the poor kid into tears.
Stiles inhales sharply but shakes off the tone his father used, "Hey dad.."
"How was your day? Did you hang our with Scott?" John asks his son with a small smile on his face.
"Uh, yeah. Um, we made some plans but didn't do much." Stiles lies while nodding his head rapidly. His dad, the sheriff, raises an eyebrow at his obviously lying son.
Sighing, John rubs the back of his neck, "Look, Stiles.. I know that things have been really tough for you-"
"Dad, don't. Please.. Not right now." Stiles breathes while looking away. His father pauses for a second in his speaking.
Tears build up in the back of his eyelids as he thinks about how tough life had become. Ainsley was his big sister and just not knowing where she was, was a very scary thing.
"Kid, I just want you to talk to me. Okay? Just talk to me, say something." John begs as he stares at his saddened son. He wished that his wife was here as she would know exactly what to do. But she wasn't, so he had to step up.
Stiles shook his head and looked at his dad, "And say what? That things have been extremely hard without Ainsley? Because I'm pretty sure that was obvious. That life pretty much sucks without my big sister? The one person who actually gave a rats ass about me? Is that what you want me to say? That everything is so jacked up?"
Suddenly, he was pulled into a tight hug. He let his tears fall as he hugged his dad back, "I miss her.."
"I miss her too." The older Stilinski replies as he tightens his grip on his son. "I miss her too."

Scott sat in his room, another quiet and gloomy day gone by. He has been trying to distract himself by reading, studying, and practicing lacrosse. All in all, just trying to become a better person for his mom and most importantly for his sister
This day was a bit different however. It was his moms only day off and instead of sleeping, he could here her crying and making phone calls to friends, family, police, and his father.
That fact alone made him angrier than before because after that phone call, his mother was left in a fit of sobs.
He listened in with his enhanced hearing and could hear her still crying.
"Oh god. What do I do? What more can I do? Give me a sign, please lord. What do I do?!" Suddenly he hears a crash and he quickly runs out of the room and into his mother's. He sees her throwing things around.
"Where is my daughter?!"
Scott quickly grabs a hold of her and grips tightly. He rocks her side to side while trying to calm her painful cries of sadness. He let his own tears slip as he thinks about the pain everyone was going through, "Shh, mom. Its okay.."
His sister was the light of everyone's life, she was like the mother hen. She took care of everyone no matter what they did or who they were. The hardest part was not knowing if she was okay...

Derek sat on the floor, breathing harshly. He had just finished a workout, which was his number one distraction... Sometimes. Like now, as he sat on the floor, he reminisced about how Ainsley would constantly make sexual comments about his body or the way he would sweat.
He remembered the laughter they shared when she would suddenly sit on him as he did push ups. Or when he would do push ups over her and a earn a kiss after each one.
His heart ached, she was his mate after all. She was chosen just for him and that alone was the most special thing. They were made specifically for each other, they were two halves. But together, they were a whole. But she was gone.. Missing..
And he felt completely broken.
With tears in his eyes, he fell into his back. The pain was so unbearable that he scrunched his face to try and rid it but it was stuck there.
'Where are you Ainsley?' He thought to himself.

The light-browned, ombrè haired girl drove over yet another state line. Her clothes were covered in blood, both her own and another's. She had tears streaming down her face as she pressed down harder on the gas pedal.
She felt nauseous as she sped through the empty country road. No matter how much she tried to shake away the pain and the memories, it was as if it was forever etched into her mind.
With a burning ache, she sped towards her destination. The one place she new that would help her. The one place that held her family and the love of her life.
She was going home.
