A Thug's Only Love: Chapter 15

~Chanelle P.O.V.~
~September 16~

I woke up early the next morning. I was at Riley's house and I didn't see her in the room. I heard my phone vibrate like crazy again so I walked over to her desk, pulled my phone off the charger and walked back over to the bed. I had 12 more messages from DeAnte. I was about to text DeAnte back telling him to leave me alone, but my phone was violently snatched out of my hand.

"So who are you texting this early? I know Lexis' ass is probably still asleep." Riley said as she was investigating my phone.

"DeAnte." I said as I tried to snatch my phone back but she was too quick and pulled the phone farther away from me.

"Chanelle, why the fuck are you texting him? He is no good. He is an ass. Don't talk or text him you are only giving him what he wants." She snapped at me.

"I know, but I just wanted to try to text him, telling him I don't ever want him or anything to do with him. But I probably shouldn't text him." She tossed my phone back to me.

"Good girl." She said as she pat my head.

"Alright, well I'm gonna head out. I gotta get the house ready. Be at my house in 2 hours." I told her. We agreed to just skip school today. We never cared for school, even though we did pretty well, so it wasn't a shocker when we skipped.

When I got home, I quickly headed straight to my room and changed into something a little more comfortable. Today was none other than Lexis' birthday. I wanted to surprise him when he came over today. As you could already tell, everyone was just skipping school today. I pulled out my phone and started a group chat to make sure everyone was coming over for the surprise.

9-15-13 -8:12 a.m. -Me: Hey I need you guys to come over and help me!
9-15-13 -8:13 a.m. -Arlie: I'll be there in 15
9-15-13 -8:14 a.m. -Me: Okay Thank You!
9-15-13 -8:14 a.m. -Javier: Yeah I'll be there in a few
9-15-13 -8:15 a.m. -Javier: Arlie what the fuck?
9-15-13 -8:15 a.m. -Javier: You didn't come by my crib yesterday
9-15-13 -8:16 a.m. -Arlie: I was busy
9-15-13 -8:17 a.m. -Varo: Arlie what the fuck?
9-15-13 -8:17 a.m. -Varo: Yee Javier n' I'll pick up Marcus on the way. Arlie didn't let me roll through either
9-15-13 -8:18 a.m. -Marcus: Why the fuck y'all blowin' up my phone for?
9-15-13 -8:19 a.m. -Arlie: Fuck y'all, I had shit to do
9-15-13 -8:19 a.m. -Arlie: Marcus your ass needs to be up
9-15-13 -8:20 a.m. -Me: You guys are too funny! Just be over as soon as you can!
9-15-13 -8:21 a.m. -Arlie: Nelle we got you
9-15-13 -8:22 a.m. -Javier: When I get there, I'm beating your ass Arls
9-15-13 -8:23 a.m. -Arlie: I'd like to see you try

At that point I left the conversation 'cause they were going to get into it again. They make me laugh so hard when we do group texts but I was glad that they were coming to help. I texted Riley and told her that I needed her now, I didn't realize what time it was when I left her house, but she didn't reply back. I went ahead and called Lexis. I needed to wish my thug a happy birthday.

~Lexis P.O.V~

I woke up feelin' hella great. Today was my birthday and that's right your boy turnin' 17. I'm like a grown ass man now. I sat up and saw I had a bunch of texts and voicemails from Friends, Family, and even ex's. The one happy birthday I wanted the most was from Nelle. I took a quick shower, shaved, and brushed my teeth. I walked back to my room and put on my black trues, white t shirt, red converse, gold chain, and of course my Bulls snapback. If I do say so myself...I looked pretty damn good. My phone began to vibrate on my desk. I walked over and "Nelle" flashed across the screen.
