~January 7th~
~Lexis P.O.V.~

What the fuck? Is everyone just going to the hospital now? I swear the Oakland Hospital must know all our names by now. Arlie and I were fine, just a few scratches but Varo was shot in the chest.

We quickly drove him to the hospital and just to skip over all the waiting and shit, his doctor said he would be fine, he just needs to take it easy and recover properly.

Arlie and I couldn't take Varo with us yet so we left him there and drove back to my crib. I was a bit salty about that prank and when Arlie told me Nelle thought of the idea, payback was the first word that popped into my head.

"Damn. I don't get it. Varo got a shit load of money and yet he buys one of the shittiest houses in Oakland in one of the most ghetto ass neighborhoods." I said to Arlie.

"I don't get it either, but if the boy wants to live like that, then so be it." He threw his head back laughing.

"On a serious note. We gotta stop doin' stupid shit. We been in that hospital left n' right." I said.

We both erupted with laughter. We both knew we sure as hell ain't gonna stop doing stupid shit. Its who we are and what we do.

I pulled up and sure enough who came running out. None other than Nelle

"Aye, play it like I killed Varo. I wanna freak the fuck out of her since she thought it'd be funny to prank me." I said in a whisper. He nodded his head and we both hopped out.

"This is gonna be good." He said with a small laugh. I looked up and saw Nelle waiting on the porch with a look of too much anxiety.

"What did you do?!" I love how she was already freaking out and I haven't even said one word yet.

"Shot him. He kissed my girl and that was disrespect." I said like it was nothing as I walked passed her into the house.

~Chanelle P.O.V.~

"Lexis!" I screamed at him. There was no way he killed Varo! "Arlie are y'all playing?" I asked with so much worry heavily distinctive in my voice.

"I held him, and Lexis pulled out his gun and shot him right between the eyes." He said in such a calm and relaxed tone. Why are they so calm about this?! They just shot and killed their best friend!

I ran right into the house and caught up to Lexis as he was walking up the stairs.

"How could you kill him?! It was just a prank the 3 of us wanted to pull! He didn't actually do what he said he did!" I was throwing punches at him until I noticed I had a few tears rolling down my cheeks.

~Lexis P.O.V.~

I didn't think she would start punching me! Her punches were so weak, it was really funny. She finally dropped down into a ball and cried; I knew I needed to stop with the joke.

I bent down and unfolded her from her lil' emotional ball and held her chin up so she was looking directly into my eyes

"Nelle, I didn't kill Varo. It was just a joke. Arlie and I wanted to fuck with you, since you 3 fucked with me, so we said we killed him." I said with a smile.

She got up and ran to our room. She shut the door and I am guessing she ran to the bathroom.

"She good or nah?" Arlie asked as he picked up King who was wiggling around with way too much excitement.

"I don't think so. She ran to our room without even saying a word." I walked to our room, opened the door and didn't see her on the bed. The bathroom door was closed so I knew she was in there.
