3. The Road To Amphipolis
As Xena Gabrielle and Joxer walk the road to Amphipolis to see Xena's mother Gabrielle looks at Xena and says what do we tell your mother about us Xena says that they tell her that truth that Cyrene would understand and would be okay with the fact that they where new married to each other.Gabrielle Xena and Joxer made camp that night as they get closer Amphipolis Xena asked Joxer to go find the fire wood and her and Gabrielle would sat up camp and and get things ready for the night.Xena told Gabrielle that she would be back in a minute as Xena walked in to the woods she stop Ares! I know that you are there come out Ares came out and said so you finely did it you mead Gabrielle Marry you Xena said no she was the one that asked me so that mines that I can't join you and i never would what do you what with me why are you here Ares?.Ares told Xena that he was there to have he joining him and that was not going to happen new so he would live. Xena what back to the camp where Joxer and Gabrielle was getting the food ready to eat and the bad rolls down for the night Xena said to Gabrielle that she was not as tired as she thought she was Gabrielle looked at her and sad oh ya what do you what to do sat here and talk for a bit or get a early start to Amphipolis.Xena said that Joxer and Gabrielle should get some sleep and she would join Gabrielle in a bit she whats to mack sure that nothing is going to stop them from going to Amphipolis.Gabrielle looked at Xena and said what is wrong are you okay? Xena said yes I am fine just get some sleep we have at lest a day or tow to go before we will get to Amphipolis and that they need all the rest that they can get.As morning comes close Xena wakes Gabrielle with a kiss and says that they need to get Joxer up and start for Amphipolis if they go new they could mack good time and get there a lot sooner then planed.
Gabrielle looked up at Xena and said with a smile good morning I will get Joxer up and then we can go as Joxer does up his bed roll and gets ready to go. As Xena gets Argo ready to go Gabrielle puts that fire out Joxer says that he is ready and starts walling Xena puts her hand down for Gabrielle to grab and pulls her on to Argo.As Xena and Gabrielle ride to catch up with Joxer Gabrielle says Xena what are we going to do in Amphipolis?Xena tells Gabrielle that she would just have to see when they get there Joxer looks up and say how much farther tell we are there?Xena says just over that hill and then we will stay there for a bit tell we are need in other places and see what happens in Amphipolis.
Xena was thinking that when she got to Amphipolis that here and Gabrielle would get a hot tub and then eat with her mom and Joxer then later that night her and Gabrielle would have a very special night after then sit and talk with her mother for a bit the only thing that Gabrielle knows is that Xena has a very special night planed for them and when she ask Xena what is so special about tonight? Xena say just what and see what I am talking about. As Gabrielle and Xena inter there room Xena looks at Gabrielle and smiles and says that she whats to make love to her and that she whats Gabrielle to fell the same way that she does as the tow of them get ready to lie down Xena starts to caress Gabrielle's back and play with her hair as Xena movies Gabrielle's hair off her neck she stared to kiss it Gabrielle said lets lay down and make love to each other as she pulls Xena close to her and get ready for the special night that Xena head promised her and that she was ready for Xena and her to become one with each other.
Xena whispers to Gabrielle to tack off her clothes as she took hers off and then that is when they got lost in the night with one another as they lay there making love to one another on the bed in Xena's old child hood room as the night grows cold the tow of them fall asleep in each others arms.That morning Gabrielle looks at Xena and says that was the best night that she has had Xena said me to new we have to get up and get Joxer so we can get some food I think that we should go to the lack and get a bath and washed up for the day we will see mother and Joxer in a bit.When Xena and Gabrielle come back to the in Xena tells her mother that there is some thing that she needs to tell her that Gabrielle and her are married and that they are happy and what to have her blessing as Xena sits there and whats to see the look on her mothers face she gets a smile and her mother said that it was about time that the two of them made there love for one another as special as they did and that she was rally happy for the both of them and would love to have all of you stay here for as long as you need to and that is what I what.Xena said that they would stay for as long as they can then they need to movie on and mack sure that Ares is not trying to hurt any one or have any villagers killed and that he is not trying to run his army this way to harm her mother or any one that might live there and the other village as will. Gabrielle said to Xena that they should be getting close to her village and that there is no one around some thing is not right here Xena are you sure that Ares is not here and that he has not harmed any one? Xena said that she was not sure of any thing and that if Ares is there thing are going to get bad.
Xena walked in to her mothers tavern and seen that there was a fight and that some thing bad has happened but where was her mother and the other villagers. Joxer looked at Xena and said what are you going to do Xena said that she is going to see what happened and where Ares has taking every one she needs to find her mother and see what happened. Gabrielle walked up to Xena and took her hand and said we will find them but I think that we should stay here for the night and start looking for them tomorrow as the tree of them have been walking all night and where tired Xena said that she was right that they do need some rest and that she will stay up and keep watch so that know one will get hurt Gabrielle said Xena you need some rest and that they will be okay if she sleeps and that know one will hurt them as they sleep. Xena looked at Gabrielle with those baby blue eyes and said that she was right and said that they could stay in her old room and Joxer can stay in one of the other rooms. As Xena lays there watching Gabrielle sleep she thinks about how lucky she is and that she needs to make sure that nothing happens to her.
