☓Chapter Seven

Marc's POV:

I'm sitting here waiting for Camila and Neymar to come back so I can drive her home, and I can't help but feel like I'm a horrible best friend. I know their relationship is growing and that they're spending way more time together, and that pisses me off.

I'm not the jealous type, but I hate it that I've known her for years, trying so hard to be more than friends and fail. But suddenly Neymar swoops in and steals her away in no time. Don't get me wrong, me and Neymar are practically best friends, but when it comes to Camila, none of that matters to me. It's just her on my mind, and I want her with me.

How does this make me a bad friend? Because I made a deal with the devil herself, Bruna. do I regret it? Of course, but what can I do now? a deal's a deal.
I have to break them up. I need crush them to the point that they never want anything to do with each other. That's the only way this deal will work.

It's all worth it though. I'll be with Camila and Bruna will be with Neymar, the way it should be.

I still can't help but feel bad because I know Ney was unhappy with Bruna and was so happy to have me cami. But I won't let things progress with them. It's for the best.

I feel a pang of jealousy as I see my two best friends laughing and enjoying themselves as they reach the parking lot. Looks like they had fun, judging that their clothes were soaking wet. I assume they went to the lake, that's what me and cami used to do. That was our thing.

"Oh hey Marc!" She said cheerfully.
"Hey" I said with an opposite tone. Her face twisted in confusion, as if shocked by my lack of enthusiasm.

" hey Marc, let's go change out."Ney reminds me. I agree and we make our way over to the locker room, him sharing with me how his day with Camila was. Of course, they had a great time. He even told me about them making out, it made me sick to my stomach.

"Speaking of Camila, I need your advice on something." I nod, signaling for him to continue.

" I want to ask her out, but I don't know how or when to do it." He says.

My phone vibrates in my pocket. I check it and see I've received a text message. I check it and it reads:

Time to begin the plan. Make them never want to see each other again. Remember, it's all worth it in the end.
