"I say this because... I love you." It felt good to get that off of my chest, even if I'm certain she can't hear m-
Oh my god. She just squeezed my hand back. She can hear me! A jolt of excitement fills my body.
"Come on cami, you're strong. Wake up." I say. I look to see if there's a nurse button somewhere when I hear the voice of an angel.
"Hey Marc." The girl I care so much about says weakly.
"Oh my god, you don't know how much I've missed you babe" I exclaim.
"I-I mean not babe but-" I begin and she laughs.
"It's okay, you can call me that. I actually like it." She says. I'm shocked, I'm certain she hated me yesterday.
"What about Ney-"
"We're not even dating, it's fine. But that doesn't mean I'm not interested in him. I just want to see where me and you end up as well." She says. Her words made me want to kiss her so much, so that's what I did.
I smile and lean in as she does the same. We share a quick, sweet kiss not wanting to rush things. It was what I'd been waiting for since the day I laid eyes on her. I just hope I'm good enough.
