I slowly stood and gained my balance. I took a step forward. In the distance, a faint scream filled the air. I took another step. And another scream. Every step I took, the scream got louder and louder until I couldn't take it anymore. I collapsed onto the ground. Everything started to spin. A figure slowly approached me. "It's your fault Thomas." A deep, male voice called out. He got closer and closer. Soon enough he was towering over me. He lifted both his hands up and hesitated before thrashing them back down again. An uncontrollable pain shot through my chest and I felt a warm liquid pour out. I gasped for air. My head feeling faint, I gave up. Darkness took over me, yet again...

My eyes shot open. I took long, deep breathes. Just another dream. A dream within a dream should I say. As I looked around, I knew I was in no place familiar. The walls were painted white and people were rushing through doors and long corridors. I took the blanket off my body and swung my self around so my feet were dangling down. I launched myself from the bed and stood up. I lost my balance and fell over. I quickly picked myself up and pretended nothing happened. I looked down to see what I was wearing. A DRESS!!!! In the corner of the room, I could see a mirror. I rushed over to it. It wasn't a dress, just hospital clothes. But why hospital clothes. Wrapped around my head, was a white bandage. A red stain to the left. Just like my dream. I had no recollection to what happened or why I was here. I made my way to the door when a lady came it. "Oh so you're up. How are you feeling?" She said with a sympathetic tone. "Err fine thanks. Umm why am I here?"
"That's what we were hoping you would tell us. A man was walking by when he saw you in a pile along with bin bags and other junk. He -"
"Wait. I was dumped with bin bags?" Things seemed too familiar to the dream. "Yes. And as I was saying, the man phoned an ambulance. I think he's still here. Do you want to see him?" Maybe he could answer at least one of my question. The kind lady showed me to my clothes and once I was changed, she showed me to the man.

I stood there awkwardly, waiting for him to see me. He turned around "Hello Thomas." A smirk printed onto his face. My heart skipped a beat and my head sank. "I think we need to talk."
