I rushed out the car and made my way to the house. Wait. I should probably have some sort of weapon. I run back to my car and look everywhere. Moving loads of scrap pieces of paper I find a baseball bat in the car boot. That will do. Once again, I headed toward the house I peered my head around the door. All clear. The house was a tip. With the baseball bat in my hand, I walked inside. It seemed silent at first until a glass smashed in the room at the end of the hallway. Isabella's bedroom! Her mum lived in a little cosy cottage. Mirrors were smashed chair legs across the floor. Trying to avoid making a noise I grew closer. CUNCH! Oh shit. Of course I had to stand on a some glass. Typical me. My heart stopped and my hands got sweatier by the second.
"It looks like we have a little visitor, ladies." A familiar voice males voice came from the room "Come on Thomas. Don't be shy. Join the party." Mark.

I closed my eyes and gulped. Deep breathes.
"Don't Thomas. Don't. Leave okay? He'll hurt you." Isabella's voice called out.
"Listen to her Thomas. Do what she says. Leave please." Amalie! Not Amalie. I've got to get them. My body turns and slowly enters the room. Amalie, Isabella and her mum are tied up in chairs at the back of the room. But no Mark. All three have cuts and bruises, especially Amalie.
"Thomas look out!" Amalie screams. Before I know what's happening in thrown across the room. My baseball bat flew out of my hands. Mark picked it up and swung it over his shoulders. By my hair, he picked me up. The bat swung into my stomach with force. "You don't learn do you, Thomas?" He threw it at me and it landed on my shoulder. He picked up a bit of glass and once again grabbed me by my hair. The sharpest point dug into my cheek and he slowly, to cause more pain, forced it down to my neck.
"STOP. JUST STOP IT." They all cried. Marks hand swept across my face, making it all red and sting. He clenched his wrist and punched the other side. He through me down to the ground.
"I'm too smart for you, Thomas. When you think you find something, I'm always 10 steps ahead. Aren't I?" He gathered spit in his mouth and spat it in my face. "AREN'T I. ANSWER ME WHEN I TAKK TO YOU."
"Yes" A tear rolled down my cheek. I'm weak and pathetic. I act as if I'm strong and know what I'm doing but that's not me.
"Aww Tommy, do I scare you. Do I make you feel tiny?" He said in a baby voice chuckling to himself afterwards. He slowly walked over to Isabella. "Love is a funny thing isn't it? It makes you happy but then again it makes you feel like shit. It can make you feel on top of the world. But it can also make you feel worthless. Like young Isabella did to you." A smirk wiped across his face.
"Get you nose out of my life. You've got nothing to do with what's between me and Isabella." I tried sounding brave and it kinda worked.
"Don't you remember? Mark. Three days after your unfortunate break up, it was Mark. Aka ME. I stole her away from you. She never wanted to leave you. I made her. I blackmailed her. You seemed to fascinating. The night you tried committing suicide, I planned for Amalie to be there to save you. And then to knock you over with her car afterwords. I told you I was always ten steps ahead of you sorry little life. I'm just too clever for you little pea brain."
"You helped him? You've been working for him all this time?" Anger swept through me.
"Your first argument. How sweet." This man was getting on my nerves. I slowly got up and kicked him in the back. He stumbled over but not enough. I raised my hand, clenched my fist and with all my force I punched him in the head. He fell to the floor within a second. I grabbed my baseball bat and started hitting the crap out of him. "Thomas stop. You're gonna kill him if you don't." Isabella shouted.
"And what's wrong with that. No one would miss him. It'd be a good thing."
"THOMAS STOP." Amalie screamed.
I realised what I was doing and threw the bat away. "I-I-I. That wasn't me. I didn't know what I was doing. I wouldn't do that." I honestly don't know what came over me. It was like I was told to do it. Someone was controlling me. I know it wasn't something. It was definitely someone.
"Okay whatever. It would be nice of you could untie us."
I got up and one by one untied them.
