Garnet X Amethyst

Amethyst's POV:

It was a normal day in the house and I was looking in the refrigerator, trying to find something to eat. I found a watermelon so I grabbed it and closed the door. I sat on the couch and git comfortable, and tried to open my watermelon. "Dang it." I said out loud and I saw Garnet walk up to me. Without saying a word, she grabbed the watermelon from me and opened it easily. She even cut it into triangles, just the way I liked when I was little. "You know me too well." I said and smiled at her. That made her smirk in response, that was something she did not do very often. "What's up G?" She shook her head and buried her face into her hands. "I don't know." She said and didn't look up at me. "Pearl?" I questioned. She looked up at me and nodded her head. "She manipulated me for fusion. I just..." Garnet trailed off and took off her glasses. She looked me directly in the eyes. "Promise me you won't manipulate me for fusion." She reached out and grabbed both of my hands. "I promise." I said and smirked at her. "I love you." I said. After a few seconds I realized what I had said. My eyes went wide and my heartrate went up. "I'm sorry!" I yelled and ran away from her as fast as I could. I jumped on the warp pad and warped to the Kindergarten. I was pretty sure Garnet woukd find me here, but I just ran. I ran and sat down in my hole, hugged my knees, and began to cry.

Garnet's POV:

I sat there in shock. Then I got up and went after her. "Amethyst!" I yelled and she jumped on the warp pad. "Damn it." I muttered under my breath. Then, Steven came into the room. "You seem upset Garnet." He said and I looked down and smiled at him. I nodded my head. "Amethyst probably went to the Kindergarten." He said, smirked, and walked off. "I'm going to see Connie for a bit." I nodded my head and he ran out of the house.

After that Pearl walked into the room. She didn't say anything, which suprised me. I guess she gave up. I decided to speek for once. "Steven went over to Connie's house." I said and warped to the Kindergarten.

I began to walk around getting a chill up my spine every time I took a step. I did not like this place, especially since the fusion incident. It made me hate this place even more.

I was walking along the pathway, looking at the rocks as I went. Amethywt used to play on these all the time when she was a kid. I loved her, I was just nervous on how to say it. I shouldn't worry because I am the team leader, and besides, she did say she loved me back.

I stopped when I heard sobs. They were muffled and I knew they were from Amethyst. "Amethyst?" I questioned. I heard sniffling and I knew where to look after that. She was in her gem hole. The place she was born. It must be terrible to know you were born for evil and made to destroy. To serve and not ask questions, but Amethyst was different, and it was that difference that made me love her so much.

The sobs became louder and I knew I was close. I eventually walked up to the hole and poked my head inside of it. "Amethyst?" I questioned in a gentle tone. "Go away." She said and I saw tears flowing down her cheeks. "No." I said and grabbed her shoulder. She slapped my hand away. I was upset she did that, but kept my emotions inside of me, as I usually did. "Amethyst." I said in a firm voice. She looked at me with tears flowing down her face. She xame out of her hole and looked at me with anger in her eyes. "LEAVE!" She yelled and when she said this she summonee her whip and it slashed me across the face. I put my hand up to my wound and looked at me hand. "There was blood on it." I cracked my knuckles, so loud they echoed a little in the quiet background. Amethyst walked backwards when I summoned my gauntlets. "G-Garnet." She stuttered. I walked closer, hearing that her breath quickened ane was louder. I was now only a foot away from her, we were face to face and fear was shown in her eyes. "I'm not going to hurt you." I said. I hugged her. "Did you really think I was going to hurt you?" Amethyst shook her head and I ran my fingers through her hair. Her hair was soft, unlike mine. "It may just be that love you too." Amethyst looked up at me and I half smiled, even though on the inside I was very nervous. She smiled at me and jumped into my arms. "You are~mmmm?" Before Amethyst could say anything I kissed her and kissed her deeply. Amethyst layed in my arms, and before I knew it she fell asleep, which made me chuckle a little. "Sleep well my gem." I whispered to her and headed to tge warp pad to place Amethyst on the couch, and for me to lay right next to her.
