Steven X Connie

Steven's POV:

I was waiting for Connie. She was supposed to come to the temple for training in a few minutes. Pearl stood next to the counter and tapping her foot. It made me mad that she was pushing Connie so hard. She sighed and my eye started to twitch because of her impatience. Garmet and Amethyst walked into the room. Garnet crossed her arms and Amethyst shook her head out of pity. There was a knock at my door and through it, I saw it was Connie. She was in her black outfit with the red belt. I motioned for her to come in. As Connie walked in, her face was serious and as cold as stone. I looked back at Pearl and saw she had a look of frustration on her face. My hands balled up into fists. I wanted to yell at Pearl for pushing Connie so hard. Connie ran up to Pearl. "I am sorry I was late." The truth was, is that she was not late, but Pearl with her perfection, thinks that people have to be early for everything. Pearl walked on the warp pad and faced away from Connie. Connie followed Pearl and she had a look of sadness. I followed them on the warp pad. Pearl looked down at me and looked away. My face was as cold as stone as we warped to the sky arena.

A few seconds later, we reached our desination. Pearl handed Connie a sword from her gem. As usual I took my seat on the bleachers. Pearl summoned her holo counterpart and the holo started to attack Connie. With her swiftness Connie dodged her attacks. Pearl smiled. Connie stabbed the hologram and she disappeared as usual. "You could be more graceful with your attacks. You have done well. Now it is time to face me. As Pearl said this, she summoned her spear. In the back of my mind I wanted to yell at Pearl, but I kept my mouth shut. Connie and Pearl bowed to each other. This was the first sword fight they have gotten into. Connie lunged at Pearl and she kicked Connie in the stomach. Connie flew backwards and landed on the ground with a thud. I cringed when I was a trickle of blood was coming out of her mouth. "Don't be pathetic! Get up and face me like a swordsman!" Pearl yelled and Connie stood up with a grunt. I have Pearl a sturn look, but she ignored me. Connie ran after Pearl. Their swords clashed together. Connie was struggling. Connie backed away and when she did, Pearl cut her in the face with her sword. Connie layed a hand on thd cut and blood covered her hand. I lost it. I stood up from off of the bleachers and walked up to Pearl. "You need to shut up and stop pushing her so hard! She is not like us and a human being!" Pearl gasps and glares at me. "If you think you can take so much pain, then take hold of a sword!" I shook my head and laughed. "I don't need one." After I said that, I summoned my shield. Pearl began to try and attack, but every time she would try, I would block it. Connie ran up to me and handed me her sword. "Pearl I am sorry." I said as Connoe handed me her sword. She gave me a look of confusion and lowered her sword. While she had her spear lowered, I stabbed her. Pearl dropped her spear and she fell to the ground. She looked up at me and had tears in her eyes. "I am pround of you both." Her voice was a whisper. With a poof, she retreated to her gem. I looked back at Connie, who had an unreadable look on her face. I picked up Pearl's gem and gently placed it in my pocket. Connie had blood coming from the wound that Pearl gave her. I dropped my sword on the ground. "Here." I took off my shirt and handed it to her. She wiped up the blood that was still on her face. There was only a scratch on her cheek. Connie began to walk away and towards the warp pad. I grabbed her by the hand and dipped her. "You do not think that you were going to get away that easily were you?" I smiled down at her and before she could smile back, I kissed her. Her arms wrapped around me and I wrapped my arms around her. I gently pulled back from the kiss and looked at her wound. It was gone. I smiled and kissed her again. As I kissed Connie, I felt bad for attacking Pearl, but she should know that no one messes with my Connie.

I want to publish it into an actual book. No this is not a fanfiction. It is my personal ideas. Since some of you say that I am great writer, I thought why not publish my own book? So I am. It will not be put up on Wattpad, considering I am at chapter 17 and each chapter is 3,000 words each. Sorry. Thank you all for saying how much of a good writer I am. It makes me feel special. At least I know that I am taleneted at something. One of my friends said that I am born to be a writer. I shook my head and told her that writing is more of a hobby. Thank you all for the support. I really appreicate that.
