Jasper X Lapis

Jasper's POV:

Our new prisoner had just arrived. I liked her. Seeing her sad brought me happiness. I was walking by and heard Peridot muttering under her breath. I ignored her and kept on walking. I saw that the fusion was still split up and that was good. Lapis was down the hall. "Hey runt!" I yelled and I heard Lapis yelp. I began to laugh. "I figured that you would be used to me by now." I said with a smirk and walked in front of her prison. "Leave me alone!" Lapis yelled and I laughter. "Sorry sweetie that is not going to happen." She began to cry, and for once, I felt bad. "Go on. Make fun of me for crying!" Lapis yelled and I stood there and watched her cry. "I..." I could not get any words out. I felt weak...being sad because this girl was scared. "I do not want to be here as much as you do, but Yellowdiamond will kill us." She looked up at me and stopped crying. Her tears were replaced with pure fear and terror. I sighed. "What was Peridot mad about?" I asked, but still in a harsh tone. "I don't know. She j-just came to c-check on m-me." She stuttered. "If you think I am going to hurt you, you are wrong. I would have hurt you already." I stated in a less harsher tone. Lapis' face softened and I thought I saw her smirk. "Can I come out of this prison?" She asked and I thought of an idea. I leaned in close so that no one else could hear me. "If you can fly us both out of here, then yes you can go." I stated and she flinched at my words, but she nodded her head. "I am going to pretend to drag you down the hallway. You are going to struggle and try to escape my grasp." Lapis nodded head. "I have to go and get a remote from Peridot to bring down the force field." Lapis smiled and looked down at the ground. I ran away from her prison and was now in search of Peridot.

Peridot's POV:

I was working on my computer and checked up on the Crystal Clods. They were still asleep. "Good." I said and heard the door open. I turned my head around to see who it was. "Jasper?" I questioned. "Give me the remote." I was about to ask why, but Jasper's face was serious. "Thanks." She said as I handed her the remote. Jasper ran out of the cockpit of the ship and ran to who knows where.

Jasper's POV:

I quickly got the remote from Peridot. "Lapis." I said in my booming voice. She smiled as I ran up to the cage.

"You have the remote?"

"Does this answer your question?" I clicked a button on the remote and the force field disappeared. Lapis stepped out and began to twirl around. "Thank you!" She ran up and hugged me. "No problem." I did not hug her back. She looked my in the eyes and smiled. Lapis kissed me and it felt great. "What are you two doing!" I heard Peridot's voice yell. "We are not staying here that is for sure!" Lapis yelled and Peridot aimed her arm cannon at Lapis. I grabbed Lapis by the waist and put her on my shoulders. I ran after Peridot in a rage and grabbed her by her waist. I crushed her and she retreated to her gem. "Jasper!" I heard someone yell. I turned around and saw Garnet standing ten feet away from me. I picked up Peridot's gem and threw her gem so that it landed at Garnet"s feet. "Take her." I was referring to Peridot's gem. Garnet looked up at me, then at Lapis, who was still on my shoulders. "While I may have given you Peridot. I still do not like you." Garnet stared at me and I thought that she smirked a little. I lifted Lapis from off of my shoulders and into my arms. I kissed her passionately and she kissed me back. I thought that I heard Garnet make a disgusted noise at the two of us, but ignored it. All I cared about was Lapis and that she was safe in my arms. "Let's get off this ship." Lapis smiled. "Aye aye captain." She saluted to me and I laughed. She grabbed my hand and I took took hers. "Should we join the fusion?" I asked Lapis and she nodded her head. "We want to be a part of the Crystal Gems." Garnet tapped her chin and I knew that she was thinking about it. "My future vision tells me that you two will not betray on us." Garnet gave us a serious look before putting her shades on. "Any fowl ups and you two are out." She pointed at us and bubbled Peridot's gem. We nodded our heads. "As much as I hate fusions, you are not so bad." Garnet chuckled a little. "As much as I hate Homeworld gems, you two are not so bad." She walked off and we followed not too far behind. I kissed Lapis once again amd held her hand. "I suppose that we are the good guys from now on." Lapis nodded her head. "No more Yellowdiamond." We both said at the same time and began to laugh. Today was a a day I think we will all remember.
