Chapter Thirteen

Ricky's POV

I guess this is why I should make amends to my best friend Joseph, yes Joseph Collins. If it wouldn't for him and his wife Kailee Collins.
(flashback)~

I remembered that time when i was on a trip and was about to go home that time when my phone rang~

"Ricky! Ricky where the heck are you?"

"Quellete? Is that you? I'm still on the airport here in L.A. i'm on my way home. What's the matter honey?"

"Joey is in danger!! I don't know where she is! But a stranger called here awhile ago and said that they had our daughter!!!!"

"What No!!"

That time i was very furious and very very scared! For Pete sake my daughter is in danger and nowhere to be found. And where i am? Here at the airport waiting for my flight that i should be beside my wife.

I thought that this is all my fault, that if i were there this would never happened.

I was half crying. I don't know what to do. I just hoped that my daughter is going to be safe. I prayed that time.

Then when i was on board i kept praying and praying. That everything would be fine

When i got home from the airport i hurriedly went to my wife hoping that Joey will be alright.

When i got home no one is around...
Then my phone rang~

"Ricky where are you please come here at the hospital"

"Quellete what? What happened?" "What hospital?"

"Here at St. Lukes Hospital at the first block in our street." "please hurry!"

So i hurriedly went to that hospital. And i was in panicked! I ran quickly and saw my wife infront of the ICU room.

"Quellete! What happened?"

"Oh Ricky our daughter and Joseph is in there" "His wife and him helped us to find Joey!"

"what? How are they?"

"Joey got stab in her back by the suspect when Joseph tried to get Joey, But the suspect got hit by the police officers when the crime begun" "Joseph hurriedly brought Joey here but he lost a lot of blood!" "And fortunately Joseph got the same blood type as goes to you and to Joey."

"That was a relief"

When a doctor came out in the ICU Room.

"Doc. how's my daughter?"

"The patients are both fine but still unconscious"

"thanks doc. that was a relief" my wife said

It felt really nice when i hurried my daughter and Joseph are fine.

They both got they conscious back and we are really happy

I really thank Joseph and his wife for searching. Then Joseph said that what if we'll have an arrangement between our daughter and his son. I totally agreed to that idea since he is my closest friend and have a partnership in business and he saved our daughter.

That is why i can't afford to disagree with this aside from he is my friend but he saved my daughter's life
