The school finally ended. Noah offered us a ride back home and of course my amazing cousin agreed. As we arrived home jasmine ordered pizza cause I think we were too busy to eat lunch at school. As for the first day we didn't have homeworks to do so me and jasmine decided to go on a walk in Oxford street.
"Haven't you talked to your mom?" Jasmine asked as we exited the house.
"I did yesterday."
"I don't know but your mom told me today to tell you to call her whenever your free."
"Uh I guess I'll talk to her then but when we get back home." I started feeling the air around me, it felt so pure so...I don't know it was different.
Oxford street was full of people but I wasn't surprised at all cause every year I'd hear jasmine talking about how croweded it is. We entered shops but we ended up buying nothing cause literally everything is expansive in this country, I feel sorry for the people who live here thought. But at least we ended up setting in a cafe which made everything just more perfect, all I did was to admire everything I see.
It was 10 pm when we went back home. I checked my phone to notice a message from my mom asking me to call her, so I did.
"Hello mom" it was always nice to talk to my mom on the phone.
"Hey honey how is everything and how is first day school?"
"Ah not bad I still didn't get to know everyone in school yet mom"
"Yeah right hmm Sarah I wanted to tell u something" from her voice I knew nothing pleasant will come up. I stayed quite waiting for her to continue.
"Well an old friend called today morning and she wants to see you....y-you know for her son" I almost freaked out I mean first I don't know who the guy is and second I'm young for getting married. Something else, we in our culture we get married at young age but still I didn't want to get married yet.
"MOM I'm still seventeen plus I don't want to marry a random guy!" And in that me and my mom kept arguing for nearly an hour but it was worth it, I won't get married ANYMORE.
