Warning: This chapter includes cussing and a rape. Just skip if you don't wan't to read. Although, this is when Mike tells why Autumn hates him so much.
Mike's POV: Does she know? I don't think she knows. She better not know. Okay, I admit it. As casual as I may have sounded during my interview, I do like Autumn. In fact, I love her. But she'll never forgive me for the things that I did. I regret it, and I've been hoping this is my chance to prove to Autumn that I'm not just a cheating deadbeat! I have feelings, too! Especially for her. For Autumn. Talking-or thinking-about what I did gives me the shivers. I was a lowlife then, but now I've learned my lesson. I did it out of love. Of desperation. I don't expect anyone to feel sorry for me...it's just...well, I can't explain it. Not now, anyway. Well, here's what happened.

(This was one month before The Titan's Curse, but the rest of the story is after The Last Olympian. Also, both Mike and Autumn are 17 at this chapter. For the rest of the story, they're 19.)
"Hey, Mike!" Luke adressed me. "What's up, bro?" "Y'know, the usual." I replied casually. Luke laughed. "Who was the poor little girl that fell to your charms this time?"
I smiled evilly. "Take a guess first, buddy." Luke pondered about it. "Hmm, Andrea, no, Clarrise! Wait, she'd beat you up. Plus, she's too ugly. Hint, please?" So I gave him a hint. "Okay, she's a daughter of Aphrodite. Name starts with a 'J'."
Luke grinned. "I know: Jessica Raymond." I smirked. "Correct! We were talking, and she's like, 'Man, I sure wish I'd met you before. You're so sweet.'" I tried my best to mimic a girl's voice.
Luke snorted. "Is she really that damn pathetic?" "Yeah," I replied. "And that's not all. I just smiled after she said that, tried to look as innocent as possible." Luke laughed even harder.
"You? Innocent? Try cruel bastard!" I rolled my eyes and continued my story. "Anyway, I decided to give her a little drug-one that'd make her black out. (A/N Explicit scene here, I don't want to go on, so use your imagination...but don't let it go too far; Mike's not a bad guy!)
"You-actually-raped-someone-before-me?" He struggled to say. I smiled with pride. "Yep, and she's still in the infirmary recovering from the damage I did to her."
"Nice, bro. Way to get a rep."
"Like I don't already have one." Just then, I heard shuffling behind Luke and I. I turned around to see... Autumn. "H-how long have you been here?" I asked fearfully. Why was I so scared, you ask? Because I loved her. For real.
"Mike..." She started but couldn't finish. She shook her head in disbelief. "Why? Why?" Luke stepped up to Autumn.
"Hey, back off, bitch, this is none of your business." Autumn blinked away tears and walked away as I just stood there in shock. As a player and official jackass, I should have forgotten about the whole thing and just went back to cheating. But I didn't. This memory was stuck in my brain forever, and it was not good.
Author's Note
=========================
I have some good news. I've decided to update one chapter every school day, besides all the homework I have. I'll try to update two chapters on weekends, but I'm not sure. It all depends on how many reads I get. If not that many people like my story, I'll either end it or delete it. I've also noticed something else while writing: words that are supposed to be italic aren't. I guess I have to underline or bold those words then. Comment if you think you know why my computer's glitching like that. Until next time,
