Overdue (Stevie & Ally)

Chapter 1

Stevie Boebi and Ally Hills are both seniors in high-school, and are going to college next year. They've always known of each other's existence but have never talked. They just got their schedules and found out they have classes together.

(Ally's POV)

Waiting in line for your schedule sucks. Like why can't they just tell me what my classes are and I could write it down or something? I go on my phone and check the time. It's already 2:30 PM, and I have work at 3:30, so I'm hoping this can go faster. I hear,"Stevie Boebi?" My head looks up like they called my name, and she walks forward to get her schedule. God.... She was so pretty. Everyone wanted to be like her, and all the guys wanted her. From what I know, I've only she's dated a girl, but a guy also. Like someone turned her or like she had a phase. I caught myself still staring at her, and I looked down. She got her schedule and walked towards the clubs section. I moved forward in line, only to realize that I had 3 people ahead of me still. I sighed and stared at Stevie again. I know she knows of me, but we've never exactly talked to each other before. I see my friend Danny walking over here and he gives me a huge smile. "Hey Hills," he says. I scream,"Danny!" We both give each other giant hugs and laugh. He says,"Good to see you finally! I've been so busy, sorry we haven't been able to hang out." I laugh and say,"It's no problem, but we better soon! Anyways, did you get your schedule yet?" He sighs and says,"Yeah... but I have a few with some people I don't exactly like..." I playfully hit him on the shoulder and say,"You could take em'!" We both laugh and before I know it, it's my turn to get my schedule. "Ally Hills," I hear my name being called. I say to Danny as I walk forward,"I'll text you later Danny." He winks and says,"You got it Hills!" The woman at the counter hands me my schedule and I'm actually in love with it. I don't have a first period, which means I get to sleep in, and my electives are; guitar and film & production. I glance up and I see Stevie checking out the Leadership booth. I make my way over to the sports section and sign up for basketball along with lacrosse. I hear,"Ally? Ally Hills?" I know that voice. It's Stevie.

(Stevie's POV)

I see Ally get her schedule and get a huge grin on her face. Gosh she was drop dead gorgeous. She had flowing black hair with highlighted tips/strands. We've never actually talked, but we know of each other's existence. She makes her way to the sports section and I see her filling out paperwork. I'm gonna do it. I'm going to talk to her. I start walking slowly over to her, and say,"Ally? Ally Hills?" She looks around and sees me. She's completely taken back by me saying her name. She says,"That's me." She gives me a warm smile and says,"Stevie right?" I smile and say,"Yep." We both laugh and she says,"Wow this is weird kind of." I ask,"How so?" She says,"How is this the first time that we've ever talked?" I think about it, and I honestly don't have a legit answer. I say,"I don't know... We totally should've talked before." Ally nods her head in agreement and asks,"So, are you signing up for any sports?" I say,"Probably basketball, but other than that, I don't think so." I ask,"Whats your schedule?" She hands me it and I compare it to mine. We have all the same classes except guitar and first period because we both don't have one. I say,"Wow. We literally have all the same classes together except guitar." She turns her head and looks and them side to side. Ally gives a quick small smile, thinking I wouldn't see it. She says,"Cool. We can get to know each other better than, am I right?" I smile and say,"I would love to get to know you." As we walk towards booths, a photographer comes up and asks us if we could pose for the yearbook. We point to the seniors sign and have our mouths open. We both laugh and as he takes the picture, so we look pretty crazy. We starting walking again, and talking.

(Narrator's POV)

Stevie and Ally both start walking to different booths while still talking about themselves and how they are. In the mean time, little did they know that this conversation would change everything.
