Overdue (Stevie & Ally)

Chapter 7

(Stevie's POV)

Ally led me out the booth and I saw Torey. She looked at me deviously, and went back to talking to the drama teacher. God how I wanted to just -. "Stevie?" I get snapped out of my thoughts and I feel Ally's hand tighten around mine and say,"You still okay with this?" I smile and say,"Yep." We walk to the small circle of friends and Amanda pulls up another chair. I sigh and say,"Hey." Shannon says,"Okay so are you two fucking?" Cammie punches Shannon lightly and says,"Shannon! I laugh and so does Ally. Amanda stifles a laugh and just looks at us. I say,"No we aren't." Not yet I think to myself. Ally says,"Stevie would like to explain more of her story, and she thought you guys should hear it also." I take a deep breath and then sigh. I say," I'll begin where it all started, my freshman year of high school. I had recently come out of the closet from 8th grade, and before I came out I was dating a guy. Yes yes I've had boyfriends to try and convince myself that I wasn't gay and all that shit. Well I broke up him, and told him that it was me and blah blah." Cammie says,"Yeah we know, what haven't you told us?" I say," Well remember the fair that was around for a few weeks and they had that giant ferris wheel?" Shannon says,"Yeah me and Ally went there. I don't recall seeing you there." I say,"I was there. I was with my first  date ever with a girl. Her name was Ashley and we both liked each other so we went on a date. As we were waiting in line for the ferris wheel, I had the urge to hold her hand, and so I did. She didn't pull back or anything, and it just felt right. We finally get on the ferris wheel and I knew she was going to make the next move." Amanda says,"Wait so this is freshman year?" I say,"Yeah like the first month or so." I continue and say,"So we get to the top of the ferris wheel and she kisses me. It was my first kiss with a girl, and it felt fucking amazing. So after that day, we continued to see each other but we didn't tell many people about our relationship, so not a lot of people knew about us." Ally says,"I remember seeing you." Ally smiles and says,"Go on pretty lady." I giggle a little and say,"A few months later we broke up because she was cheating on me with her ex. So that was also my first heartbreak with a girl." Amanda says,"Is that why you two avoid each other now?" I say,"I don't know why she avoids me, I'm over it, and moved past it." Cammie says,"Well some people are just that way, can't help it." Shannon rolls her eyes and says,"Yeah keep going on Stevie." I laugh and say,"So that was that. Lots of people had heard by then, so I was a known person. Then the popular people "found me" per say." Ally says,"I remember." Shannon and Cammie turn to each other than Amanda, and are dead silent. I say,"I thought they were my friends, but friends aren't supposed to stab each other in the back. Anyways, the popular kids started inviting me to hang out with them, go places with them, sit with them at lunch, and etc. Around the middle of the year, there was a new student, who was gay also, and her name was Emily. Unfortunately, the popular kids didn't exactly... well they didn't..." Cammie says,"They didn't want any more gay people?" I swallow and say,"Yeah, I was kind of still put down because of it. But anyways, me and Emily had a few classes together and we began talking." Amanda says,"Do you guys still talk?..." I say,"Sometimes, but usually its for homework or something. We are kinda friends I guess." Amanda says,"So this all happened freshman year still?" I laugh and say,"Yes, it still is." I then sigh and say," So, we started dating about 2 months after of being friends and we really liked each other. One day when we were holding hands through the hallways, Matt, one of popular kids yelled at me,"Dyke!" and of course I looked at him. He was in the group that I was in, and everyone else was there too. They laughed." Ally grabs my hand and holds it. I continue and say,"We didn't care, we were in love. Love makes you do crazy things. And then basketball try-outs came around, and we both tried out and made it. I remember Ally making it also, but it all seems kind of blurry. Anyways, the school year was coming to an end, and we were still dating. She said she was going to visit her family in Arizona for most of the summer after a few weeks school got out, and of course I was sad. Anyways, last day of school came and all that emotional shit and signing yearbooks and blah blah." All 3 of them laugh and say,"Oh my god." The drama teacher comes up to us and says,"Are you ladies working on the assignment?" All of us looked at each other, and we had no idea what we were supposed to be doing. She says,"You are supposed to be working on your plays to perform for other classes! They are due on Friday, and we start rehearsal on Monday, so I suggest you work fast!" I say,"Thank you Ms. Mitchell, we will get on it." I smile at her and she walks away talking to other students. I say,"So back to the story, summer comes and she leaves, and I go hang with the popular people and we go to theme parks and small roadtrips, I'll never forget it. Then Emily came back right before our 6 month anniversary. We celebrated a pizza place, then went back to my house, and the rest is history there." Amanda stifles a laugh and so does Shannon. I continue telling my story to them with a few occasional questions but most the story was me just having heartbreaks and loving people that don't love me as much. I finished telling my story and the bell rang. Ally says,"Jeez that was really long. We have 53 minute periods." I laugh and say,"Yeah I didn't expect it to be this long." Shannon says,"Well... thanks I guess for that. I didn't actually know all of that." Cammie and Amanda agree. We start to walk out of class and the memories are flowing through my head like rain. This was going to be a long lunch. Ally stops me and then says,"So what are we?" I say,"Whatever you wanna be." I smile at her, and she is dead serious. She says,"Stevie... I'm serious." I say,"I am too. I mean, we can be friends with benefits, we can date, we can be best friends who sometimes make out without each other, I mean there are a lot of things we can be." Ally starts laughing and says,"I like the second one best. How about you?" I smile inside and say,"Yeah me too Hills. Me too." I look at Ally then her lips, and she does the same. She pulls me in for a kiss and I don't hesitate at all. I pull back and ask smoothly,"Bathroom?" She says,"Nah." I get sad inside but then she whispers in my ear,"Car." I smile and then kiss her again. This was going to be a really good lunch.

Wowzers. Here's an update for y'all. I'll try and update in the next week or so, it honestly depends if I can come up with something. By the way, I usually don't edit these till like hours or days later, so sorry about mistakes! This took me 3 days 0_o to write, I've just had horrible writer's block and I'm stressed from school and blah blah. ANYWAYS, thank you for reading and still voting for this story!
