Overdue (Stevie & Ally)

Chapter 10

(Stevie's POV)

I lean back from Rachel and realize what I'm doing. I open my eyes and say,"I can't do this Rachel. Not now." She leans back and opens her eyes also. She says,"What do you mean Stevie? You were ready just a minute ago." I say,"I'm not going to cheat on Ally." Rachel says,"Then break up with her and be with me." I say,"Rachel, you and I both know that's not going to happen either. I'm sorry but, I can't do this anymore." Rachel sighs and says,"Okay Stevie. Can we still remain friends though?" I smile and say,"Sure." We both put our jackets back on and turn off the stereo and get out of the car. I made the right decision, I know I did, but it was hard. As we are walking back, I see Ally walking towards us with Shannon, Cammie, and Ali. Rachel whispers to me,"Get ready for questions Boebi. I'll text you later." I whisper back,"See ya." Rachel then walks diagonally from me and goes to hang out with the cheer-leading group. I walk towards Ally, and I see serious looks on their faces. I say,"So... what did I miss?" Cammie says,"Oh nothing, but you wanna maybe explain what you did?" I ask playing stupid,"What do you think I did?" Shannon says,"Don't play stupid Stevie. Just say it." Shit... okay now I feel stupid for doing that. I say,"I did nothing. Nothing other than usual." Ali says,"God you guys I'll just ask. Did you or did you not have sex with Rachel in your car?" They all hit Ali and she says,"What? You guys weren't gonna ask it straight forward!" I say,"No." Ally looks at me and walks around me, checking me out. I say,"What are you doing Allison?" She says,"Just checking out my girlfriend for any marks or anything." I laugh and say,"I didn't have sex with her! If you don't believe me, go ask her." Shannon says,"Hmm okay Boebi. What did you guys do then?" I sigh and say,"We just talked. And I think I saw some people following us so we went to my car." The four of them blush and are easily embarrassed. I say to Ally,"If you are going to use our friends to eavesdrop, at least try and be sneaky." I begin to walk away and Ally says,"It wasn't me. I didn't plan it, I wanted nothing to do with this." Cammie says,"It's true Stevie." I turn around and say,"Okay." Ali says,"That's it? Okay?" I turn around again and say,"What else do you want me to say? I know what I wanna say, but I'm not going to." The four of them stand there awkwardly not knowing what to really do. Ally says,"So... Are we okay?" I say,"Sure. I'm gonna hang with Rachel for the rest of lunch. I'll see you guys later." Cammie says,"Why are you pushing us away Stevie?" I turn around and say,"I'm allowed to chose who I hang out with. Besides, seems like you guys are entertaining each other." Ally grabs my arm and says,"Stevie why are you so mad all of sudden?" I say,"I'm not mad. I'm just tired, I've been tired since this morning." Ally says,"Okay fine." She lets go of my arm and says,"Have fun with Rachel, she's probably a better kisser than me." I scoff and scream at Ally,"What do you not get? I'm not in love with her! We didn't do anything! Why can't you see that?" Ally says quietly,"Because she's better than me." Oh man, this was going to be a interesting rest of the day. I sigh and say,"Ally... she's not. I'm dating you over her. You must be better by a little." She laughs and says,"Yeah I guess." I sigh and say,"Why are we making a big deal out of this?" Ally sighs and says,"Because I believe she is going to take you. That'll you'll break up with me because of how lame I am compared to her. Plus you've really known her longer too." I say,"Ally... That is in the past, she is my past. You are my present and future. I'm not going to just leave you. Besides, I've known you for years but we never talked really. So I guess I've known who you are but I don't know who you really are." Ally laughs and says,"Okay okay I get it. Thank you, I needed that." Shannon says,"So are we all good? All lovey dovey? Peachy perfect?" I laugh and say,"Yes Shannon, I think so." Ali says,"Okay well we have like 5 minutes of lunch left, so what now?" Ally smirks and says,"I know exactly what." She then grabs the side of my face and kisses me. It's different with Ally, I feel the sparks and I just melt into the kiss. Cammie says,"Get a room! Or your car!" Ally and I both laugh and break away. Ally holds up her hands and says,"Okay okay! It's not like you two make out right in front of us." Shannon and Cammie blush but Ali, Ally, and I laugh. We start to walk towards the head of the school and I grab Ally's hand and she smiles at me. She whispers seductively in my ear,"Girl you better be ready after school, I'm gonna have an early dinner." I smile and look at her, and holy shit, I was so ready for school to end.
