Overdue (Stevie & Ally)

Chapter 15

(Ally's POV)

Wow that kind of hurt... I mean I thought we were moving a little fast but I didn't know she wanted to break up already. As we are driving down the street, I can tell she's still focused on the subject. Then as if she could read my mind, she asks,"Is this one sided?" I say stuttering a little bit,"I mean... I have to respect your wishes... But yeah..." I feel like I shouldn't have said the last part but I'd rather be honest with her. She says,"Oh. Well I mean... I do like you Ally, that hasn't changed at all." I just nod my head, and she sighs. She then surprisingly says,"I'm sorry, this isn't fair for you." I then say,"It's ok it's what you want, and I'll respect that Stevie." She then gives her sexy smirk and says,"What if I want to change my mind?" I pull over to a nearby gas station and park in a spot. I say,"Stevie, I don't want you changing your mind just because of me." She sexily whispers,"But it's you I want..." I say,"So what about being friends and all that?" She smiles,"Well I like dating my best friend, and I think a lot of people do too." I raise an eyebrow and say,"Oh so we're dating again?" Stevie rolls her eyes and laughs a little. She says,"Yes, I would like to again. I realize I made a stupid mistake, and I would to apologize for it." I smile and say,"Apology accepted. Now since we are girlfriends again, I vote we go back to going to the mall still." Stevie says,"Yes! I wanna go play with the dogs they are so cuteee!" I roll my eyes and laugh. I pull back out of the parking spot and drive away from the gas station. I'm glad see changed her decision, but I hope it wasn't because she felt bad, and that's actually what she wants. I say,"So... what do you think of Sarah and Rachel?" She snorts and says,"I never saw it really happening... but if they're happy together I don't really care to be honest." I laugh and say,"Yeah me too." Stevie asks,"What about Torey? Hear anything from her lately?" I say,"I wouldn't know, I blocked her number and threw away some letter she wrote me." Stevie laughs and says,"I'm sorry but that's just pathetic. She doesn't seem to understand the concept of the word no and I'm not single." We both laugh and say,"Yeah no kidding." We then drive in silence to the mall which is about 10 or so minutes away. I park and we get out and walk towards the entrance. I think to myself, do I just hold her hand or? She then seems to read my mind again and asks,"Do you want to hold hands?" I smile and say,"Sure do." We then grasp each other's hands and walk into the mall, happy and unknowingly walking into a awkward moment.

(Rachel's POV)

As we walk out of the restaurant, I say to Sarah again,"Thank you so much for dinner, it was really good." Sarah smiles and says,"Of course, I'm glad you enjoyed it." We then walk to her car and this time I say,"I'll get my own door." We both laugh and Sarah says,"Alright then." Both of us are now in her car and we just sit there for a few seconds without saying anything. Sarah then says,"Do you want to go to mall?" I ask,"The mall? What's there to really do?" Sarah smiles and says,"Well... they did just open a small shelter that you can play with dogs at..." I squeal in happiness and say,"Let's go then!" Sarah laughs and pulls out of the parking lot, and speeds off to the mall.
*15 or so minutes later*
We arrive at the mall and Sarah pulls into a spot. She says before we get out,"Would it be weird if I want to hold your hand?" I think about it for a few seconds and then decide to say,"Go ahead if you want, I wouldn't be opposed to it." Sarah then says quietly,"Do you not want to?" I must've said it wrong, shit, I gave her the wrong vibes. I say,"Sarah, that's not what I meant to say. What I meant to say was, I'd love to." We both smile at each other and then get out of the car. I walk around and we begin to walk towards the entrance. We both reach for each other's hand and it feels amazing, like our hands are made for each other type of feel. Sarah must notice this too because she gets a huge smile on her face. We then get to the door, and I open it for us. Sarah says,"Well thank you ma'am." I say,"No problem, I like holding doors for cute strangers." She then blushes a little, and we return to holding hands. I then see who, out of all places I'd see, is Stevie and Ally waiting in line at the shelter. I start to say,"Do you see Stevie and -" Sarah says,"Yep." I say,"Wanna make em' look?" Sarah smiles and says,"Maybe." I say,"Follow me." I then begin to walk around the shelter so they don't see us. I say,"We'll walk right past them, and trust me, they'll look. But try not to look at them." Sarah says,"Since when did you know how to stealthy show off?" I giggle a little and say,"I'm the famous Rachel aren't I?" Sarah smiles and says,"Indeed you are. Let's do this." We then hold hands tighter and begin to walk on the other side of the shelter where the line is. I see Stevie and Ally just talking so they'll notice us. Sarah says,"I'll just pretend like you are the only thing I see other than the stores next to us." I laugh and say,"Alright." As we get to the corner, I see them look up at us but I made sure to lose eye contact before. I say,"They've seen us." Sarah then giggles and says,"We're so immature for doing this you know?" I say,"As long as it's with you." Sarah then says,"Can I kiss you? I wanted to do it all night." I say,"Can I get some gum first haha?" Sarah smiles and says,"Me too please." I reach into my purse and grab two pieces for both of us. After a few seconds, Sarah laughs and says,"Alright I'm gonna try this again. Can I kiss you? And this is not to show off or anything. I actually want to kiss you." I smile and say,"I'd be happy if you do." Sarah's lips then crash into mine, and her lips are soft and warm, along with a minty hint. We then pull apart and Sarah says,"Now, let's go play with some dogs." I smile and say,"Agreed." I then see Ally and Stevie staring at us. I say,"We've definitely caught their attention."

Wow... Very long time since I've updated... Well, honestly I didn't want to write but I got in the writing mood and decided to do this. Plus I didn't edit this, so sorry for mistakes and such! Here's a little fun/filler chapter and sorry it's a little stupid with the Stevie and Ally thing ... but I felt like it needed to happen. I will say though, a well known couple has broken up in this story(and in real life) Steph and Madison. I'm gonna go back and change the name because I'd rather just not have Madison on there, and it's very late I know. And yes I know Cammie and Shannon are still on here but I can't bear to make them break up :(( so I'm keeping them together :D . I also can't promise that I'll update soon again... but we will see!
