You always saw him, no matter where you were or where you went, he was always there. You didn't know his name or where he was from, but you could always pick him out of a crowd with ease due to his side-swept spiky, blond hair and because he always seemed to wear the exact same black coat no matter what. Occasionally you would spot him with two other people—people who wore the exact same coat as him—but despite having companions with him, his blue eyes were always glued onto you, only looking away when he had to. Eventually, your friends started to take notice of him just like you had, all of them quick to begin teasing you and joking around about how this stranger must clearly be in love with you with how he kept staring at you. Sure you'd laugh at their teasing and jokes, but a part of you couldn't help but be creeped out by the blond.

The first time you actually made any contact with him was by complete accident. You had been heading up to the top of the clock tower one afternoon, desperately wanting some alone time with yourself and away from the stresses of everyday life. But instead of finding the top empty and bare like usual, you were surprised to find him already sitting there and enjoying a familiar blue-tinted ice cream. It was a popular flavor around Twilight Town known as sea salt ice cream, many of your friends quite enjoyed it but you, on the other hand, weren't too keen about it. The sweet and salty treat may have been heavily favored by almost everyone in your town, but you couldn't really bring yourself to fall for it like everyone else and instead opted to stick with [Favorite Flavor] ice cream.

You had thought to just turn around and leave at first after spotting him sitting there, but that plan was quickly thrown out the window when he suddenly turned and stared back at you with wide, empty blue eyes. You felt it too rude to just up and leave now that he saw you, so instead, you gave him a sheepish smile and a small wave as you shuffled over and sat an arm's length away from him. You couldn't help but squirm around every now and then as you could still feel his intense gaze locked onto your person.

"Uh..." you trailed off, not really knowing what to say as you finally force yourself to look back at him from the corner of your eye. Flinching as you saw that he was still staring, the ice cream in his hand already long forgotten and starting to slowly melt. "I'm [Your Name], you?"

"Roxas" his voice wasn't unpleasant, but you couldn't deny that it sounded quite...bland. It sounded as if all the emotions within his person had been sucked out and left behind nothing but an empty shell. Slowly nodding your head, you let him know that you had heard him before finally you looked at him and offered him a nervous, polite smile.

"That's a pretty unique name you got there...uh...are you new here?" you questioned, desperately attempting to make friendly conversation with this stranger. He blankly stared at you for a few agonizing seconds before his lips suddenly quirked upwards into a crooked smile—you couldn't help but shiver a little upon seeing that smile. For a while, you both just sat in utter silence as you did your best to avoid all eye contact with him while he continued to just stare. It wasn't long before you abruptly stood up and wished him a quick goodbye, finally deciding to leave—practically running down the metal steps and out the front doors of the station the second you were out of his sight. Shortly after that encounter, you started to feel like there was always a pair of eyes intensely watching your every move everywhere you went.

Your parents and friends were quick to brush it off as paranoia, not really taking you seriously when you told them of your unease feelings. Summer seemed to just painfully drag onward as you practically chose to lock yourself away inside your own home, finding it to be the only safe place away from that intense feeling of being watched. But it didn't take long for your friends to grow tired of your constant pleas to stay inside every time they tried to coax you to come and join them outside. In fact, they had grown so tired of your ridiculous behavior that one day they finally decided that if you weren't going to come with them willingly then they'd just drag you out by force.
