Hide and Seek - Danny Phantom x Reader

"[Your Name], where are you?" You heard Danny asked as you tightly held your hands over your mouth. Your eyes wide as you stared down at the concrete floor of the abandon factory you were hiding in. Of course you choose the most "wonderful" and "perfect" place to hide while being pursued by a love obsessed ghost that was your best friend. The best way to describe it was that you were stuck in a sick and twisted game of hide and seek. Your shoulders tensed as you heard movement close to your hiding spot.

"Well I guess since you're not in here I'll just have to check somewhere else" you heard him say as it soon went quiet. Quietly you peeked out from your hiding place and looked around the empty building before sighing as you moved back into your hiding place and leaned back against the stack of boxed. You close your eyes and took in slow deep breaths to calm your fast beating heart. "Found you" you snapped your eyes opened and screamed at the brightly lit green eyes that stared at you with love and obsession. You pushed yourself to stand and scrambled away from the ghost.

'Where's the exit? Where's the fucking exit?' You cried in your mind as you ran. Your mind was in scrambles as your [Eye Color] eyes looked everywhere while the sound of laughter from close behind reached your ears. You shut your eyes tightly shut and made a sharp turn past a stack of boxes and into another section of the factory. You didn't even know what the building use to make and at the moment you didn't really care. Your heart pounded loudly in your ears as you looked left and right before quickly hiding behind another stack of boxes seeing how those seemed to be the only thing to give a reliable hiding place.

As you hid behind the boxes you scooted back 'til your back made contact with the wall. It was quiet as the only things you could hear now were your heavy breathing and the beating of your heart. You didn't know what made Danny snap, he was always so kind to you and he trusted you enough to tell you his secret. But, now he was this, this monster! Sure a couple of weeks ago he had asked you out, but you had politely declined him.

Despite rejecting him he didn't seem to hurt by it, even laughing and brushing it off with a simple 'alright, that's fine'. So you doubted that was the cause of this sudden behavior. After that the topic was brought up again, but now that you looked back on it you did start to remember that he started acting a little weird after that. Could that had been what caused him to lose his mind? Now that you thought about it, probably; your ears perked up to a soft sound, one that was so light that if it hadn't been so silent in the building you would have missed it. You waited for a minute to see if the sound would happen again, but it never came.

With a sigh you laid your legs out flat on the ground and tilted your head back 'til you were staring at the ceiling. Your eyes fluttered shut for a minute as you took another deep breath in an attempt to calm yourself and try to remember where the exit could be. You tried to remember if there was anything near it that was worth remembering. Before you really start concentrating, you felt a shiver rake down your spine as your body became paralyze. You started to shake as you felt two white gloved hands clasp on your hands.

Your body became transparent as you were yanked back through the wall. Your lips parted as you released a silent scream while you were taken by surprise. You were soon pressed against a hard chest as arms wrapped tightly around your waist and a face buried itself in the crook of your neck from behind. With a low whimper you lightly clawed at the arms that were around you while staring down at the ground that you were now hovering over as the owner of the arms held you. Danny hummed in delight as he took in a deep breath, taking in the sweet scent of your perfume while hugging you tighter.

"Please" you whimpered out as tears pricked the corner of your eyes. You felt your body being flipped around while still in the ghost boy's arms. He pressed his forehead against yours and stared straight into your [Eye Color] eyes with his bright acid colored ones.

"What is it?" He questioned before a dark looked crossed his face. "What? You want me to let you go?" He questioned as you meekly nodded your head. He growled as his released you. You yelped as you started to fall before he caught your wrist and dangled you mid air. Once again you turned transparent along with Danny as he flew upwards and outside. As soon as he was high enough in the air you both became solid again as he now dangled you over the cemented roof.

You froze as you looked down, gulping before flinching as he pulled you up 'til both yours and his noses touched. "After five fucking hours of playing this game of hide and seek with you and you want to just leave! Don't my feelings count for something; I found you fair and square so you're mine got that!" He shouted as he tightened his grip on your wrist 'til there was a cracking sound. You screamed as your wrist now felt like it was on fire as it was throbbing in an immense amount of pain. You kicked your feet wildly as you wailed in pain with tears streaming down your face.

"If I can't have you then I'll just drop you" he murmured as he leaned real close to you 'til you could feel his warm breath on your skin. He eyes shined with insanity. "I'll break your legs so you can't run and hide from me" his voice was oddly calm as you shook in fear while staring at him with wide frightful eyes. "So, do you still want to leave?"

"No" you choked out with a sob as you stared at him with tears streaming down your face and dripping off your chin. Your cheeks were red and puffy as your mind was still in a haze from fear and the pain that emitted from your broken wrist. The skin around it was now starting to turn into a sickly blackish purple bruise. It was silent for a minute before you were pulled back up with arms wrapped tightly around your waist again. Danny held you close and buried his face into your neck while giving the skin soft kisses.

"I'm sorry for scaring you like that. I promise I'll never hurt you again; I really do hate doing that. Just promise me that you'll stay and won't try to run and hide from me again" he mumbled while holding you close. You stayed silent for a minute at his sudden change in attitude while you gripped his shirt with your good hand as your teeth were clench and your shoulders shook. You nodded your head as you went against your better judgment, all for the sake of not experiencing any more pain.

"I love you" Danny hummed as he continued to nuzzle his face in your neck while you quietly sobbed to yourself.
