You knew something was wrong, but at the same time you didn't want to admit it. You didn't want to worry the others or even Yugi by telling him that something was a matter with the pharaoh. What exactly was wrong with him? You had no idea yourself, you just knew his behavior wasn't normal. This aura of possessiveness and constant staring wasn't natural, what was causing him to act this way?

Yami wasn't fully aware of it at first. Finding these strange attractions to you to be strange. At first he had believed that he may have known you in the past, like a friend or a acquaintance. But that didn't explain the ache in his chest, it didn't explain the way his knees grew weak when he stared at you. It wasn't until the visions stared appearing did he fully realize why he was so attracted to you.

You would be lying if you said that you hadn't been having strange dreams as of late. Dreams of a town out in the desert, dreams of a palace with servants hurrying around to gather what would be needed. The items in their hands reminding you of what would be needed for a royal wedding and then there was that strange man. You never could clearly see his face, but he always reminded you of the pharaoh, perhaps it was the pharaoh. If only you could see his face.

Yami found these visions to be strange at first as he didn't understand them 'til he fully process exactly what they were. Visions of his past life, back when he ruled over Egypt. And in those visions you were always there, but you looked different. Instead of your normal clothing you were dressed in wedding attire, attire fit for a queen. Were these visions of his wedding day? Yami had assumed so because the palace was decorated as if ready for a wedding.

But, despite that, the dreams always seemed to play out a wedding were you were a bride. They never ended happily. It was always the same, as soon as the vows were exchanged a searing pain would rip through your stomach as if something had stabbed you and then you'd wake up. These dreams were nothing more than just dreams though, there really was no need to fret over them. They held no importance to your life.

Yami relieved these visions each day, never pleased with their ending of watching you be struck down after the vows were exchanged. If only he could remember who did it, then he'd make them pay. He found himself hovering around you when in control of Yugi's body, if only he had his own he wouldn't have to fear being away from you. He knew now he had to keep you safe, he had to make sure no one took you away from him.

You shifted around uncomfortably as you sat on a park bench next to the pharaoh. Why he was in control over Yugi at the moment, you had no idea. But, the air around him just made you uncomfortable, it was suffocating you. Neither of you spoke, but you knew something was wrong. You flinched when an arm was placed around your shoulders and you were pulled close enough to feel pharaoh's warm breath being blown onto the shell of your ear.

Yami didn't speak as he pulled you close, enjoying the warmth that radiated off your body. It comforted him knowing you were close, it made him glad that he now remembered you. He hoped that you could remember him and see that the two of you were made for one another. He snapped his purple gaze towards you when he saw you struggling a little, trying to pry your way out of his grip. Exactly why were you trying to pull away?

Something was wrong, you knew that and you knew to trust your gut. The air was suffocating you, you didn't want to be near him at the moment, you wanted to be as far away from him. Your heart thundered in your chest, but not out of love or embarrassment. But, in fear. As you finally got out of the pharaoh's grip you scooted down to the far end of the park bench, wishing there were other people in the park.

Yami narrowed his eyes as he watched you scoot away from him. He didn't quite understand it, the two of you were made for each other. Why were you afraid? Was there another person? Were you seeing someone else? These questions ran through his head and he didn't exactly like any of them.

You had to get away, give him space and let him calm himself down. Let him solve whatever is bothering him because you knew at the moment he wasn't safe to be around. Something in your gut just told you to stay away from him. Maybe you were afraid he had feelings for you? Afraid that he planned on admitting his love to you, you didn't want that. You didn't like him, you didn't want to hurt his feelings. The only person you liked was Ryou.

Yami found himself scooting closer to you as you seemed distracted by your thoughts. Your eyes were wide and filled with fright as you kept leaning forward, as if ready to bolt. When he was close enough he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you towards him into a tight embrace. He loved being able to hug you, now his wished that you would enjoy it as well. He watched as you squirmed around before turning around to face him as you raised your hand.

Before you could smack the pharaoh, you winced as he grabbed your wrist and kept your hand from moving. Why did you agree to meet up with him so late in the evening? If there were people here you would have been safe. You reeled back as he leaned closer towards you before you flinched when he grabbed the back of your head and forced you forward. The minute his lips roughly met yours was the minute you screwed your eyes shut in discomfort.

Yami raveled at the sweet taste of your soft lips against his. The taste so familiar in the back of his mind as he tried to deepen the kiss before jerking back when you roughly bit his lip. He lowly curse, tightening his grip on your wrist as he narrowed his eyes down at you. The way you shrunk back as fear flashed in your eyes didn't bring him guilt but instead made him happy. Happy that you had common sense to understand that he was the dominant one and was one to be fear.

You were even more terrified then you had been before. Why did you have to gain bravery and bite him? The venomous glare he had given you caused a lump to form in your throat and dread to build up in the pit of your stomach. You gave a silent cry when he suddenly grabbed the back of your neck and pressed down on a certain area. "Ah" were the only words that left your lips as your vision started to blur before everything went black.

Yami smiled as you fell limp in his grasp. Holding you close he cooed gently while running his fingers through your hair. He planed on putting you somewhere safe that way no one would ever be able to cause any harm to you and you could never leave his side. Yugi wouldn't mind if he kept control over his body a little bit longer, would he?
