Today was our big test to see if we moved on to the next level of training or went home. I didn't sleep all night. I was to busy tossing and turning. I wanted to show my family that I could do this and it wasn't something I was just doing to occupy myself. I had bags under my eyes and just floated through my few classes. I did make sure to eat a big breakfast and to snake in between classes. I needed my strength for whatever lay ahead of me in my test. There were three levels of training and I couldn't wait to move on. We had been working ourselves for four months straight and I no longer felt the burn and the hurt from what we were doing.

I heard the last bell ring for my class to be over and jumped out of my chair almost forgetting my back pack. I ran out to my car and started the engine. Just as I was about to put the car in reverse I hear a knock on my window. I let out a loud audible scream. I was so tense and excited about today that I had no clue what the hell was happening. I look to my window slowly holding my hand over my heart from the scare and realize its Devon. I lift my eyebrow and stare at his smiling face a second. What did he want? So I roll down my window.

"Yes?"

"Hey Penny, I couldn't let you leave without wishing you luck!"

"Wait, how did you know my test was today. I didn't tell you?"

"Was I not suppose to know? It was in the meeting yesterday. I am shadowing my dad remember. I want you to know that Warrior Ethan is very hopeful for you. He likes your fresh personality you bring to the team."

"What does that even mean?"

"It means that he is rooting for you. So good luck! And watch out for the ending there is always a twist. See you later."

"Bye."

I rolled up my window and just pursed my lips thinking of what he said. What does that even mean? Was he helping me? Did he already know the test. I think he did. That made me smile and my heart flutter. He still wanted to help me no matter what our lives threw at us. But, why would he want to help me out? Was it for his own benefit or mine? I put my car into reverse and headed over to the stadium. I parked and grabbed my essentials. I went out last night and bought new gear to use for the test. Fresh clothes, fresh body, fresh everything, and ready to win. I knew nothing about what was going to happen today.

I walked into the door and the place was creepy quiet. No one was working out. The benches and stands were empty. Did I come at a bad time? I slowly walked to the lockers looking back and forth confused as ever. I stripped and changed closing my locker door with a loud clang. It echoed so bad it almost made me jump. I slapped my arm and looked at myself in the mirror.

"Ok, snap out of it Penelope. You can do this. Its in your blood. Lets go and show them you deserve to be here. "

I shook my head at myself and then turned to exit the locker room. I walked down the hall to the green hall and stood at the door. I stared down at the handle and finally grabbed it and turned. The door swung open and to my utter shock and horror there were bleachers; not just bleacher, but full bleachers with silent talking wolves in them waiting for the first test. Okay. This just got real. I felt a tap on my shoulder and saw Nathan looking at me funny and then I pointed to the crowd. His jaw practically dropped to the floor. I finally blinked and took a deep breath and walked into the hall straight toward Warrior Ethan and the others. I stood next to Warrior Ethan and waited.

Nothing could start until Alpha Trent and his son Cade got here. So we all waited in silence until they walked through the doors. You could feel the power radiating off of him. He had a stern but happy face on and walked over to Warrior Ethan and shook his hand. He then walked to each one of us and shook our hand and wished us luck. The hall was silent. He grabbed a hand microphone from Warrior Ethan and went to the middle of the rink.
