Luther finally entered the door and woke me from my light slumber. I looked up to him and he looked tired. They must of put him through the ringer out there. I knew that they wouldn't just send me into my test with a few girls. They needed to make sure that I could hold my own. I was wondering if I would still go up against another guy as well. There weren't many of us she wolves left. I was lost in my thoughts when I looked up and realized that the guys were slowly tricking out the door to the next test and that left me before Luther had to go. I didn't realize that each one was going faster then the next. This made me concerned. I did not want to disappoint my father or family, but I wanted to do a good job. I wonder if going fast meant they had been pinned or vise versus.

Just as I was about to scoot closer to Luther to ask how he was doing the door opened. I raised my head and noticed the same girl that I had saved enter the hallways.

"Your turn Penelope."

She gave me a huge smile before going back out the door. I stood up and brushed my legs off. I stretched a bit and then turned and waved  to Luther. It was now or never. The last test and then I could start with the next level of warriors. This scared and excited me at the same time. I could feel my heart beating out of my chest and that scared me. I grabbed the handle and walked through the door staring back at Luther and his half smile before walking out to the arena area. It was silent as the last few times we had been out here and sometimes I wish someone would just sneeze or cough loudly to let me know they were there.

I walked over to where she was standing and realized that she was going to be my opponent. Warrior Ethan walked over to us and smiled a bit.

"Penelope, this is Ashley. She is going to be your opponent. She is the first of two that you will go against. You have three rounds to win. Each time someone is pinned or held down with a tap out then it is a point to that person. If you somehow should get a knockout you win the whole round and do not need to go the full three rounds. Are you ready? "

"Yes Warrior Ethan."

"Are you read Ashley?"

"Yes Warrior Ethan."

He stepped back from us and then blew his whistle. I crouched around the circle and started to watch any signs that she was going to move. I could tell she was doing the same. I moved a bit to the left to see what she would do and her eyes carefully watched me. I gave a small smile and she gave one back to me.

"You going to make a move young one?" She bantered me.

"I dont know. Are you old fart?"

She scoffed at my comment and just shook her head. I took that as a moment of weakness and lunged. I went for her stomach. I leaned my head slightly to make it look like I wanted to head but her, but instead went for her stomach. She took the bait and went to grab my arms and instead I kneed her in the stomach. This made her wince and blow air out and curl down. That when without thinking I grabbed her hair and knocked her on the ground. She went down with a loud thud and closed her eyes.

She slowly opened her eyes as I kicked her side and made her curl into a ball further. I didn't think that we had to hold back in the one on one combat due to our healing abilities and no need to kill our opponent. I kicked her again and as I did this she grabbed my foot and twisted causing me to go down. But, her plan failed and I fell on her. My elbow knocked her in the face and hit her nose. Blood started to drip and this gave me the opportunity to grab her leg and pin her neck. She wiggled a bit, but finally it was clear she wasn't moving. Warrior Ethan blew the whistle and I released her.

I stood up and walked back over to the outer circle. She stood up and wiped the blood with her arm. She looked at me and now looked a bit upset. I didn't want to goat her anymore so I just waited for the whistle to blow again. She walked over across from me and that's when he blew the whistle without hesitation. This time he threw in two soft swords to work with. I heard the thud, but knew that I wouldn't need it. So as she looked down I pretended to go after them. This woke her up and she came over too.
