He held my hand and walked me over to the beautiful gazebo. I could not stop smiling. This was amazing. What did I do that to deserve this? He led me to one side of the blanket until I was sitting and then went over to the boom box. He turned on some soft music that fit the situation perfectly. He sat down across from me with an unreadable expression before I finally broke the silence..

"What?"

"Nothing, I just dont know how I got so lucky is all?"

"You think this date makes you lucky?"

"It doesn't?"

"That's why I asked you?"

"It does. Completely. I cant wait to see what else is in store for us."

"Me Too...."

I broke off and just left it there. I looked around as he started to place food down in front of me and let me pick at his plate. It was a comfortable silence. I wanted nothing more to sit closer to him. SO that is just what I did. I got up and moved next to him. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my temple and smiled. It made my heart do flip flops and then I started to eat off his plate as well more. He giggled and I just looked at him.

"What?"

"Did you not like your plate?"

"Yours is better."

"Whys that? It has the same things you do."

"It doesn't have you next to it though."

That caused him to start laughing even more. He grabbed me in a hug and grabbed me up. Setting me in his lap with me facing him to squish me into a bigger hug. I looked up at him and smiled. This brought his lips down onto mine and I returned the kiss. Loving the taste of him on my tongue. We started to get a bit friskier with our kiss and that is when I broke it needing to breath. He set his chin on my head and let out a deep breath.

"Hey Penny?"

"Yes?"

"Wanna dance?"

"Sure"

He helped me get up and then took walked me hand in hand over by the river bank. There were lights and a bit of a glow there. It made it even better. He pulled out a remote from his pocket and changed the boom box to a different song. It was so slow and sweet. It was perfect. He really thought about this date and made sure everything worked out to a T. He grabbed my waist and I laced my hands around his neck. Looking up at him and smiling. He leaned down and pecked my lips and then I leaned my head on his shoulder. It couldn't get more perfect then this. Devon had never done this for me. Ever.

We danced for what seemed forever when he cleared his throat. I looked up to his twinkling eyes and smiled.

"Yes?" I asked him.

"I have something to ask you."

"Okay."

He grabbed my hand and took me back over to the food spread. Which was magically gone now. And just had a box and some blankets left over. I cocked my head to the side being very confused. I know he was with me the whole time. Who is around us that is able to do this? He must have some minion friends helping him out. I wonder if they know to keep quiet? I look over to him with a worried look in my eyes.

"They wont say a word."

"How are you reading my mind?"

"I could just tell by the look in your eyes."

He sat me down and grabbed the box. He looked at me with a serious expression and waited a minute. I watched him contently and with my heart calm. There was nothing he could do next that would change the way I feel for him at all. He looked nervous and I could hear his heart pounding. So, I figured I would give him the time he needed to do whatever he had in store. I just smiled softly at him and waited until finally he cleared his throat again and cursed under his throat. I giggled and he looked into my eyes.
