"Abi!" I yelled from my bed. I have been sitting here for almost a week. The doctor confirmed my foot is broken, and I'm not aloud to walk on it with or without crutches. So I guess you could say I'm on bed-rest.

Simon had also called since the meeting, telling me to forget everything. From the boys to the kidnapping to the conversation Liam had with Niall. I had to forget it all and never tell a soul. Abi knew this and had to obey as well.

She poked her head in. "Huh?"

"Has the doctor called back yet?" He came by this morning to check and see if I could use crutches at least.

She sadly shook her head. "No. Sorry Ariel." She came over towards me and sat on the end of the bed. "Listen, I get what you're going through. When my parents died, I had to leave my friends and go to an orphanage, and they all forgot about me, too. I get it. But I'm still here today. Please don't block me out... And promise you'll never cut again...?"

She figured out I cut when she was doing laundry and had to throw my blood-covered clothes away.

I slowly nodded. There was a silence before I broke it. "Abi, I need to get out of here."

"Where?" she whispered, knowing the answer.

"Boston."

She nodded. "When your foot heals, you may leave." She exited the room. I sighed. I know exactly where I'll go.

**3 Months Later**

I was finally ready for my departure. My foot had healed completely and my therapy was done with. I bought a car with the bribe money Simon gave me, and Abigail helped me buy a new house. It was small, but I liked it. We found it online since I was moving to a small town in Alabama. I was going to the town of Wedowee.

I grabbed my luggage and put it in the trunk of my little soft-blue Bug. I turned around to be greeted by Abi.

She wrapped me in a hug with tears ruining her make-up. "I'm gonna miss you," she whispered into my hair.

"I'm gonna miss you, too," I whispered back. I pulled away and smiled, wiping under my eyes. "Thank you... for everything, Abi."

"It was my pleasure, Ari." We smiled at each other through our tears.

"Well, I better get going..."

She nodded. "Drive safe. Keep in contact. Don't do anything stupid... You get it."

Yup. I have to drive the whole way by myself.

I nodded. "I promise." I started getting into the car when I began to look around. "I'm really gonna miss this place," I muttered.

"But you'll be back to visit," she assured.

I nodded again. "I sure will." She smiled at me as I got in and closed the door. I started the engine and rolled down the window. "Bye, Abigail. I cant thank you enough."

She smiled. "Your welcome, but I'm not saying goodbye. Goodbye means forever."

I smiled. "Then I take that back."

She waved as I backed out of the drive way. I waved, and soon enough, she was out of sight. I turned the radio up when I heard Carrie Underwood's voice. Because I was alone, I sang along.

"Got it all figured out inside of my head,

There's a bag packed up at the foot of my bed.

You say the word, baby,

I'm all set.

We'll cover our tracks, tell a couple white lies,

Make sure we got a good alibi,

And by the time they catch on, we'll be outta their sight.

Long gone, baby.

"Let's get out of this town tonight,

Nothing but dust in the shadows.

Gone by morning light,

Somewhere we won't ever get caught, ever be found.

Baby, let's just get out of this town.

"Don't need directions, don't need a map,

If we get lost I'll be good with that.

Yeah we'll find a way to make the time pass.

Windows rolled down with the heat on high,

Stars all aligned in a runaway sky,

Holding my hand as the miles roll by.

Long gone, baby

"Let's get out of this town tonight,

Nothing but dust in the shadows.

Gone by morning light,

Somewhere we won't ever get caught, ever be found.

Baby, let's just get out of this town.

"If we leave tonight and drive fast enough,

All of our troubles will be just like us.

Long gone, baby.

"Let's get out of this town tonight,

Nothing but dust in the shadows.

Gone by morning light,

Somewhere we won't ever get caught, ever be found.

Yeah, let's just get out of this town tonight.

Let's get out of this town tonight.

Yeah, we won't ever get caught, ever be found.

Baby, let's just get out of this town."

"And that was Carrie Underwood with Get Out Of This Town on Country 102.5 radio," Laurie said.

I can get through this as long as I got country radio.

Wedowee, here I come.
