Chapter 13

Lucas's POV

When Riley and Maya walked out, I knew it was my only chance to talk to Farkle. I looked at him and my fists clenched without me doing anything. Ï like her, how could you kiss her!¨ I screamed at him through clenched teeth.

¨Dude, number one, I didn't know that you liked her, I'm sorry. But seriously, you had to kiss her in front of me?¨ He asked, trying not to scream.

Before I even realized what I was doing, I ran towards him and punched him in the face. The next thing I know, Josh was pulling me back and standing between us. I kept fighting against him. I hit him a couple times on accident.

I kept struggling to get to Farkle. I saw Josh put his guard down, so I rushed forward, but Josh jumped back in front of me and I punched him in the eye. Josh moved away and I saw Farkle who had a bloody nose.

"Farkle!!!" I heard Riley scream. I went to punch Farkle but before I could, hands wrapped around my chest and pulled me back. I was struggling to get free.

"Lucas!!!!" Riley screamed. I saw she was in front of me and I started to calm down, but the arms stayed around me.

"Get out now," she said, on the verge of tears.

"Riley-" I started to explain what had happened.

"Get out!!" She screamed as tears fell down her face. I wanted to reach over and brush them off. The arms around me released me. I knew there would be no staying, so I grabbed my stuff off the floor and walked our of the apartment.

"What the hell was that!!!???" I heard a voice, Maya, scream as I turned the corner.

  "Listen, I lost it okay? It kills me to see them kiss! He stole her from me!!!" I screamed at her as I turned towards her.

 "You never had her!!! And I'm happy you didn't because she deserves way better!!!! You were an outcast! She became your friend and this is how you repay her!?!!?" She was right. I was terrible to do that and I never had her. I was an outcast and I bet that's what I'm going to go back to being.

  "You don't get it," I mumbled as I turned away to walk away again.

  "Maybe I don't get it, but Farkle gets it, because you made Riley kiss you, how can you do that?"  I hear her say.

I sigh, knowing that she is right and I turn back around and walk home.
