I felt nothing but pain. I could barely hear Luka screaming my name as Talon ran off, badly injured. I soon went into nothingness.

Liam's POV

I was in a Alphas meeting that had Alec's dad, Kyo in it. I was so bored but knew I had to act like I cared. I really did, but some of the other Alpha's speak in a monotone voice.  I was sitting there when Luka suddenly burst in. "Alec is in trouble!! Come quick!" He told me and Kyo. We followed him back to my pack house. We ran into the healers room. "Just a gash in his neck, he'll survive." She told us before anyone asked anything. "But-" Alec stopped Luka from saying whatever he was gonna say with a look. Luka stormed out followed by Kyo. I didn't mind them, I was worried about Alec. [Im alright. don't worry. I've had worse.] Alec mind linked me. I nodded and layed next to him.

~time skip~

It's prom day. Alec has healed completely. He seems sick lately but he said he was just overworked. I believed him because when I forced him to sleep all day one day, he seemed to have gotten better. I decided it would be best if we didn't see each other all day today.  I couldn't wait to see what he is wearing tonight. I currently have my mom, Jen for some reason, and Sally all helping me get ready. It's 4:00 and our dinner is at 5:00. I'm so nervous. I head out to the place we are eating. It's not the normal restaurant, it's a clearing. I head there to make sure everything is ok. Tonight I'm gonna ask Alec to go all the way tonight. I know he is not ready to mark, but.... Ya.   Everything looks good and it's 4:56, he should be here soon.
