"Kell hurry up and show me the dress!" my bestfriend Savannah yelled from the other side of the dressing room door.
I gave myself a once over in the mirror and damn I looked good. The little black dress hugged me in all the right places and the shimmer that ran through it made my hazel eyes pop.
I walked out after throwing on a pair of black, 4 inch heels and twirled in front Savannah.
"Holy damn, you look hot." Savannah squealed. "This'll be the best new year's we've ever had."
And I had to admit, her new red pixie cut hairstyle really complimented her face and the light pink dress she wore made her look great. "I wish I could pull that hair cut off." I commented.
"Please, you're hair is gorgeous. Mine looked horrible down to my butt like yours and god, I wish I could pull of the color your hair is!" she exclaime while touching my dark brown hair covered in blonde highlights, it really did look good. I'm glad we had decided to get our hair done together.
"Now let's buy these and go!" she said while pushing me into the dressing room beside hers. We changed while talking about who we thought would be chosen tonight, silently I prayed it wouldn't be me. As we left we saw a few guys from school and rushed to hide, we had to be a surprise. No one could see our hair and dresses until the party.
