I walked out of the bathroom taking one last glance at the human me. My long hair was in its natural wavy state and I looked tired. I couldn't believe it when I heard Savvy was going to be tested too. Both Colton and Elijah had already went down to the chapel and I had to go get Savannah.
I shut the doors lightly behind me and tiptoed down the hall towards her and Colton's room.
I knocked on the door as soon as I got to it. No answer. I knocked again. No answer. Was she having second thoughts? Please tell me she didn't make a run for it. I knocked once more. No answer. I exhaled loudly and hit the door hard. Still nothing.
I slammed my small frame into the door. It didn't budge. I could feel a horrible ache in my shoulder. Dammit. I took several deep breathes to compose myself then knocked once more. Still nothing.
I must've wasted ten minutes. Damn, she needs to get her little ass out here.
I raised my hand to knock again, but before I could the door
swung open and there stood Alec.
I must've looked shocked because he let out a slight chuckle.
"Got a problem slave girl?" He chuckled.
"Why are you in here? Sav!" I looked past his broad frame.
I pushed past him quickly after he just stared at me and the room was empty.
I turned to yell, but he'd already disappeared.
I walked to the edge of the bed and looked around. Nothing.
I was about to leave when I heard the sobs. Savannah.
