5 Years Later...

"As the city of Acmetropolis gathers for the anniversary of the legendary clash of the titans, it is speculated to be the biggest event in the history of our great city. What is to come from our largest event ever? Well, we will just have to wait and see when the mayor gives his speech. I'm Chad Parks, and this is channel ten-

The tv clicked off. The rabbit sat the remote down on the table, and got off the couch. He stood up, and stretched. As he did so, he looked at the watch on his grey wrist. "Oops. Don't wanna be late." He said to himself. He then walked down a hallway, and towards a silver sliding door.

It automatically slid open, as he walked into a brightly colored room. There was a creme yellow bunny standing there, pulling her shirt down as he came in. "Let me grab my necklace and we'll go." She smiled. She picked up a pearl necklace, and clipped it around the back.

"Alright, I'm all set. So... We're really going through with this??" She questioned happily, and grabbed his hands. "Yes. We. Are." He then kissed her. "Then lets hurry up. They're waiting on us." She laughed. He held her hand, as they both walked out of the room.

They went down in the elevator, all the way to ground level. They walked out of the brand new tower, toward a stylish and custom hover car. He opened the door for her, and let her in easily. He went to the drivers side, and took off down the road.

"This is gonna work. I just know it." She said, ancy. "It'll be better for us." He smiled back.

They walked in to a building that read, "MechTech Industries". There, they stopped at a long hallway, that had a big window that showed some doctors, and an operating table. As soon as they saw a brown Coyote, they smiled.

He signaled Ace through the window to come on in. He then looked at Lexi. She had a fearful, but hopeful look. "I'll be back by your side within a day. I promise." They both smiled. She nodded in agreement. He was about to walk away, but she grabbed his shoulder.

She then spun him around, with her lips making contact with his. He held her waist, as she did his chest. He pulled off, ready to get started. "Ace... There's something I need to tell you." She blushed. "What is it?" He questioned curiously.

She didn't answer. "Ohh... It's the L word. Isn't it." Ace chuckled. She laughed, and stared at his blue eyes. "I love you." She smiled. He paused for a minute, and looked back at her. "I love you too- "Mr. Bunny, they're ready for you." A nurse then interrupted them.

He looked at her, then back at Lexi. "Remember. 1 day." He smiled, then followed the nurse. She led him in to the room that Lexi saw through the big window. She saw Ace and Tech hug, then helped Ace get on the operating table.

Ace took his shirt off, and laid on the table. Tech placed a mask over Ace's face, then grabbed a metallic arm of a big machine. He moved it over the permanent sword wound, then extended a laser barrel from the end.

"Are you ready?" Tech asked. Ace nodded, then rolled his head towards the window. He then looked at Lexi, and smiled. His eyes then slowly started to close from the gas.

"Here we go."
