Hiroto x Midoikawa ~Sunflower Kisses

So, my last chapter kind of turned into a short story about snow and how it can be annoying sometimes.
I'm sorry that it was kinda crap but yeah..

He looked over at the boy beside him.
The way the sun danced off of his features, exentuating them, and slightly tanning him in the process. The way he would twist his olive-green hair when he was nervous or deep in thought, and the way his smile could just light up a room- if only he would do it more often.
All the perfect little things that most people would overlook, were simply treasured by him.

"Midi.." He started, before contemplating on what he was going to say next.

"Yes Hiroto?" The green haired one replied, his hazel eyes glittering with curiosity.
The other teen just smiled happily before letting out a sigh and laying down onto the warm, soft, grass the two had previously been sitting on.

He stuck his hand up towards the sky, feeling a cool breeze lightly catch his fingertips. The other boy soon copied, laying down next to him before turning around onto his stomach, so the sun wouldn't blind him.

The field of Sunflowers opposite caught his eye.

"Didn't you want to say something to me?" Midorikawa insisted
"Uh.. Yeah, but I forgot, I was too ... distracted. It's nothing really ."

He closed his eyes, beginning to feel the warm summer sun on his face.

Midiorakawa, had grown somewhat restless at this boring conversation- no that wasn't it - everything about Hiroto just seemed off, and his overly calm manner gave an almost unsettling feeling.

He stood up, brushing the loose grass and Daisies off as he did so, before nudging Hiroto slightly with his foot and walking off towards the vast field.

After a while, The green haired one had not returned. This worried Hiroto a little, but he didn't think too much of it.

"Midi, come back, I'm sorry if I annoyed you...or something... Please just come back." He shouted, towards the field, hearing only crickets and and small birds replying to his plea.
He ventured on into the field nethertheless finding no trace of the teen ,as the sun began to sink below the tree line.
It would be getting dark soon.

"Midi, where are!-"

A blur of green had pushed into him, making both teens fall over . Hiroto pushed his fringe out of his face to see Midiorakawa laying on his chest.

"Midi, I-"
He stopped, and proceeded to lift his hand towards the others' face.
"Why are you crying?" Hiroto asked, concerned as he wiped the others' tears away.

"Oh sorry, it's ridiculous I know, it's just I felt so alone in here, you know the way you can't stop feeling depressed on a sunny day... Looking back. Into the past or something.. And then I thought I'd lost you and-"

"Shh." Hiroto said, placing a finger upon the others' lips.
He shifted his weight slightly so that Midiorakawa was now beneath him. He placed a pale hand on his cheek, and the other beside his head.

Midiorakawa stared up at him in curiosity and anticipation, as the Sunflowers towered over them.

"You are so so beautiful, and I don't want to see you sad, okay? I just get lost in your eyes whenever I see you."

Both of their hearts began to race, and they began to blush uncontrollably-more so Hiroto than Midiorakawa surprisingly.

"Hiroto I-"
He has cut off by the red haired one bringing their faces together slowly. He lifted up his chin and whispered something in his ear, that made the green haired one blush more.

But it was Midorikawa himself that actually initiated the kiss- out of possibly desperation, fear, sadness and love- a mixed bag of emotions.
But he was going to savour this moment.

The two composed themselves after a while, and sat up- just hugging each other as the sun went down.

"I love you ." Midorikawa chimed, snuggling into the others' chest .

"I love you more." Hiroto replied with a smile, going in for another kiss.

Hiromido all the way people, so that was kinda soppy I guess, but what can I say, I'm w sucker for some good old fashioned cheesy romance.
