*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
He had never seen anyone so beautiful in his life.
Soft pink lips, soft grey-White hair, a soft smile that gently warmed up any room- everything about him was just soft and delicate.
But his eyes were different.
On the surface, they seemed like any ordinary eyes- in his case, grey as a cloudy sky with hints of blue that seemed to twinkle whenever he smiled.
But it was only when swam deeper into those pools that you noticed a hollow air of pain and sadness, fear and longing.
There was something about this boy that didn't quite match up, and Kazemaru was determined to find out what.
Sure enough it would be easy just to walk up to the kid and pester him with questions, but that would make Kazemaru look like one hell of a douchebag, not to mention the fact that this boy was obviously quiet and somewhat sensitive in nature- better to reel him in slowly and become friends first.
That is to say if Fubuki wasn't so damn gorgeous that every time their eyes met, the blue haired teen went weak at the knees.
*~*~*~
"I'm sure I left my books in here.." Kazemaru grumbled to himself, rounding the corner towards the classroom.
He was about to just pick them up and go home, when he heard a soft, almost angelic voice echoing from the room.
"-and I can't help...falling in love wiith you...-" He sat on his desk next to an open window, quietly singing to himself as the wind blew gently through his hair.
"-Darling so it goes...somethingsss are meant to beee -"
"Uh-ah sorry, I didn't know anyone else was going to be in here..." The teen stammered awkwardly, placing his shoulder bag down gently onto his own desk and shoving in the textbooks.
Fubuki just smiled in response, tilting his head a little, similar to the way a cat would.
"That's fine, I don't mind the company. It can get pretty lonely in here by myself sometimes."
He patted on the table- "sit with me." The boy stated simply, smiling softly at the other.
"Urhh, sure..." Kazemaru said blushing a little in response.
This Fubuki kid displayed such magnetism that it was almost impossible to stay away from him.
The boy walked over, slinging his bag on the floor as he sat nervously beside the kid.
He caught a glimpse at the others' pale eyes and quickly looked away, clearing his throat.
"So, Fubuki... You sing?"
Well that was an obvious question
"Shirou." He corrected quietly "and yeah, I do sometimes, although it can be quite lonely with just me...you know?" He looked at Kazemaru who just nodded in response.
"My brother and I, we used to sing all the time...but then there was an accident..." His head dropped slightly, and a sadness filled his eyes.
Kazemaru looked into his eyes softly, "a-accident...?"
Shirou clasped his hands together softly and sighed.
He obviously didn't want to talk about it. Kazemaru thought to himself.
He turned to face the teen.
"What about you Ichirouta, do you sing?" He said slightly more audible this time.
"Uh well-wait, how did you know my name?" Kazemaru asked
The other smiled sweetly, but continued "I've seen you around a couple of times, and you seemed interesting to me, so I wanted to know you better. Sometimes I see you playing football with your friends after school- you're really good." He smiled "and well, you seem like quite a popular guy...everyone's always talking about you." Fubuki said resting his chin in his hands and staring at the other intently.
"Uhhh-"
Fubuki gave a short, sweet laugh. "Aha, sorry, was that a bit creepy? I promise I'm not a stalker or anything!"
Kazemaru shook his hands frantically- "no, no, no. I was just a bit surprised is all. And in answer to your previous question-" he scratched the back of his head nervously- " I don't really sing...I mean, I can't really sing- like, I sound like a screeching owl!" He laughed awkwardly at himself before continuing "but I do play guitar though..."
Fubuki's eyes sparkled.
"Can I hear you play?" He asked inquisitively.
Kazemaru blushed slightly. "Yeah uh, I guess." He got down off the table and grabbed his bag. "There's should be some in the music room I think, mines at home right now."
The other just nodded in response, jumping down from the table and gathering his things also. As he picked up his bag, a light blue water bottle fell out of the side pocket and rolled across the floor.
"Oh, I'll get it"
"Uh, it's okay, I got it-"
Their hands touched for a brief second.
Blushing, the blue haired teen backed away. "Ah, sorry dude."
The other just smiled, like nothing had happened. "We were heading to the music room?" He gestured to the door before walking towards it slowly.
"Uh yeah, uh, follow me." The blue haired teen stammered, catching up to the other and leading the way.
The two walked down the empty hallways in a comforting silence. Kazemaru so wanted to just grab the other boys' hand again- it was so cold, yet strangely warm at the fingertips, and it had sent shockwaves down his spine.
"Well, we're here anyway.." The boy stated, holding open the door for his new friend.
Fubuki walked in and immediately made his way towards the guitars, before retrieving one and handing it over to the boy. "What about this one."
Kazemaru shrugged his shoulders, "sure." He scanned the room, looking for a suitable place to sit. His eyes fell to a couple of stools next to a large window and a grand piano.
'The piano' he thought- his mum had taught him to play it when he was younger, but he had given up, due to the fact that he's always thought it was too 'girly'- well he looked girly playing it, what with his long hair and everything.
He sat on one stool and Fubuki sat on the other, swivelling it around so that he was next to the teen.
"So umm, I'll just start then-" the blue haired teen strummed some cords, before creating a simple, well known tune.
He looked up from the guitar to see that Fubuki had closed his eyes and was humming along quietly.
He stopped.
"Huh?" Fubuki asked "sorry, was I distracting you?" He said innocently, playing with his hair absentmindedly.
Kazemaru placed the guitar down and blushes slightly. "No, no...it's just, I'm used to playing alone so I guess I just got a little nervous." He scratched the back of his head and looked out of the window.
He should really be getting home soon.
Fubuki just smiled. "That's okay, we all get stage fright sometimes. How about we be alone...together?" He tilted his head to the side, eyes sparkling once more.
The blue haired teen blushed furiously, as the other inched his way closer to him.
"What do you say?" Fubuki asked quietly, playing with his hair.
A million and one responses were circling through the others' mind.
"Uhh-uhh..."
Suddenly his thoughts were cut short, by an annoying sound coming from his pocket.
He retrieved his phone with a rather annoyed expression and looked at Fubuki, before answering it.
"What is it Endou?" He said with a sigh.
"Uhuh-"
"Yeah-"
"-now?"
"Okay fine!"
He clicked the red button on the screen and turned towards the other with a sympathetic look.
"Sorry Fubuki but Endou said he needs my help with something. Can we do this again tomorrow?" He inquired.
"Yeah sure, I don't mind. And maybe you can teach me some guitar tomorrow...and maybe I could help you practice your singing?" Fubuki answered rather quietly, clasping his hands together.
The other blushed for the upteenth time that day. "Aha, sure. See you."he picked up his bag and headed towards the door.
"Bye." The boy said. "I look forward to our date, Ichirouta." He said to himself quietly, blushing also this time.
