(DIO and Hisoka really have the same chaotic clown energy)
I'm back!
I thought I'd try and ease myself back into writing again by just doing something fun and simple to start off with.
Also the next chapter will be a good old fashioned one-shot, so stay tuned for that!

As some of you may know, I watch a wide variety of anime. However, I have three anime that I will always go back to and have had a profound effect on me.
Inazuma Eleven
Hunter x Hunter
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
These anime/manga may seem very different, but I think they also have a lot of similarities.
So I thought I'd make a short list of some of the similarities I found, as well as some funny things I have noticed about these shows.
I'll try and keep it spoiler free although some of the shows have been around for a while now and unless you've been living under a rock I'd say it's hard to stay away from all the jojo memes.
Also ya'll should definitely check Hunter x Hunter and Jojo out if you haven't already!
So, what can football, spirit fighting and buff guys beating the shit out of each other, possibly have in common?
1. All of them are shounen (duh) with their own bizarre and crazy elements.
So instead of normal football, let's have super-powered kids who use penguins to shoot goals.
Instead of fighting let's have super-powered kids (and adults) who fight with incredible nen abilities.
Instead of normal fighting let's have our GHOSTS fight whilst we pose in the background.
2. They are quite bizarre
The aforementioned penguins of Inazuma is a good example.
In H x H you can go from arena fights, to gangs that want to steal people's eyes, to dodgeball tournaments inside a card game, to morally questionable ant-people.
Jojo's BIZARRE adventure is no exception. Where else would you go from punching a vampire with the power of the sun, to fighting an ancient Aztec with a squirrel for a hand, to fighting the same undead vampire equipped with a steam roller, to tracking down a serial killer and his cat who looks like David Bowie, to taking on the literal mafia, to prison shenanigans, to going on a horse race with Jesus, and then whatever the hell part 8 is supposed to be!
3. Crazy character designs and abilities
Inazuma eleven has a lot of crazy character designs, which makes sense considering how many characters there are and how long it's been running for. I still can't get Tobitaka's eagle-mullet hair out of my mind. The fact that kids can use super powered football techniques is a really fun and interesting take on the sport.
H x H is no exception, the characters are all very quirky and have interesting designs which makes them all very unique and stops them feeling too cliche. The characters also have really cool and interesting 'nen' abilities from simple things like increased speed and strength to hair body armour or the literal embodiment of debt
*shout out to my boi Knuckle*
You can always tell a someone is from jojo as they look like a mix between a fashion disaster and fashion nova. They all fit nicely on a scale between super buff and super fem. Each 'part' has its own unique style hence why you can go from a super buff 17 year old Jotaro in part 3 to a super fem 15 year old gangster Giorno in part 5. The 'stands' (spirit manifestations) are also really unique and interesting with some great abilities like stopping time, creating invisible zombies or just trapping people in a pylon forever.
