"Kenny your phones ringing" Karen mummbled through the door
"who is it?" I sigh, I really wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone
"It's Craig" I run out of my room. Is it really him or some sick joke? I press the answer button
"Long time no see huh?" Craigs smooth voice falters into my ears
"it's been seven months Craig! You couldn't of called?" I cry through the phone, all I wanted to do was to see my best friend, my boyfriend.
"I-was trying to" His voiced cracked " trying-trying so hard to get better."
"Shhh shhh, it's okay" I cooe "were are you?'"
"I-I" he started "I dont want you to see me like this"
"Craig, I don't care how you look right now, your going through chemo, I understand."
"I'm at home but i have to leave soon for another round"
"Im visiting." I decide
"You can't...."
"Why the fuck not?? Don't you want to see me?"
"Of course I do! thats why it's so hard for me to do this!" He cries "If my treatment keeps going this well, I can see you in at a minimum of 1 month"
"A minimum of 1 month? Are you serious?" I sigh tangling my fingers into my hair
"Yeah... doctors are suprised its going this well"
"I'm glad its going well, Call me more ok?" I say
"Sure thing, mom" I can hear Craig smirk at the other end as I chuckle
