For twenty one minutes, anxiety had been gnawing at every inch of her mind.
What if it was to forward?
What if the girl with the blue hair thought she was weird?
What if she was homophobic?

Jersey knew that 'what if ' statements were an invalid way of thinking. She just couldn't help but to rack up every single thing that could possibly go wrong.
Those twenty one minutes passed slowly but at the same time it felt like they ended to soon.
Jersey held her breath as the girl with the blue hair walked in and past her, right on time.
The process was as usual but like always Jersey felt overwhelmed.
The girl placed the box of hair dye on the counter along with a pack of gum, a notebook, and some pens.
Jersey scanned the items and looked up at the girl, who was already looking at her.
The girl smiled, and Jersey smiled back as she handed her the bag of items.
The girl with blue hair said "Thank-you.", and that one phrase was enough to make Jersey feel dizzy and reevaluate her life.
