After that night Jersey and Ashley had been spending the majority of their free time together. Jersey didn't mind though. Ashley made her laugh and she made Ashley laugh. Sometimes they would hang out until three in the morning just talking. Pointless conversations about conspiracy theories and aliens made them loose track of time. Sometimes the night would get to them exposing their emotions. Jersey had told her that she felt like an alien in the sense that everyone had a preconceived idea of who she was. She said everyone expected so much of her when she couldn't meet all of those expectations. She was just Jersey nothing special.
Ashley looked at her and told her that Jersey wasn't nothing. She told her that everything about her was special.
Jersey felt her stomach flutter when ever she was around. They're had been times when Jersey got caught up in the moment and just wanted to tell her that she found her entire existence to be a gift.
Jersey had been sleeping in since last night she had left Ashley's apartment around two in the morning. She had an alarm set for two thirty pm since she didn't go into work until three thirty. Her phone went off waking her up she saw the time and it was only one she groaned and saw it was an incoming call from Ashley.
"Hello?" she said in her half a sleep voice.
"well morning to you." Ashley said with a chuckle.
"Sorry right hello Ashley how is life treating you?" she said with as much fake enthusiasm as she could muster up.
"well then if you're gonna be rude i guess ill take my invitation else where." Ashley said in fake hurt voice.
"Ashley I am so sorry please except my very genuine apology."
Ashley took a very long deep sigh "fine you are forgiven which is why i would like to invite you to a party."
"A party?"
"Yes a party and i will be performing at this Party and i would really love for you to be there and you could bring anyone you want so please come."
"hmmm I don't know i would have to think about it?" Jersey said. The line went silent.
"alright well let me know" Ashley said disappointment clear in her voice.
"Ash I'm kidding of course i'll come."
So with that she called up Michael asking if he wanted to be her plus one only after finding someone to cover her shift.
