We pulled away from kissing and just laid there laughing
I stood up and held out my hand to lift her up.
"Are you ready to go home?"
I said with a smile
She grabbed my hand, stood up, pulled me into her, and rested her nose on mine
"Do we have to go yet? I mean we could spend a whole day together..just you and me...."
I chuckled
"Ya, haha lets do that instead"
She smiled and then gave me a quick kiss. She then grabbed my hand and started running towards the beach
"Can we go swimming now?! Where you wont make me by mistake"
I started blushing and put my hand behind my head
"Sure haha"
I pulled all my cloths off and i was in nothing but my boxers and connie was in what basically was a bikini
"You look great!" I said with a soft blush
"Thanks" she said blushing back
I did my dorkish laugh and ran right into the water
"Come on connie!!"
"Right!!"
She started running towards the water and then tripped
"Connie are you ok!!?"
I got out the water as fast as i could to help her up
"Yea, im ok"
She laughed it off and then ran right into the water
"Come on Steven!! It feel great!!"
"Im coming, im coming !" I said with a chuckle
We were in the water for what felt like hours
By the time we finished it was maybe an hour before sundown
"Can we go walk the boardwalk?? Its so pretty at night!!"
"Ha, ok" i said
I held out my arm
"Mylady" i said smirk
She smiled back and hooked her arms around mine
As we were finishing up our walk we passed the Big D. We saw lars locking up. He had something in his hand ...it looked like a picture
" watcha got there lars"
"hUH!? He said frantically
"Oh this, haha its nothing" he was sweating with nervousness and hid it behind his back
"Lars..."
"Why do you care!! Its not like we are friends.i don't like you"
"The feeling is mutual.." Connie said
He glared at her
" i have to finish locking up, scram.."
He shoved the photo in his pocket...

I pick up my camera and start recording..
"I haven't seen my son or his GF since the day connie almost left..but i needed her too..to finish what i wanna do.
It getting complete and i just need Steven to go for it
If you haven't noticed he wants to marry connie
I believe she'll say yes..so I'm gonna...."
I look over to side because i hear a knock on my van
"Someones at the van? at this hour of the night?!I say softly
"Ill tell you the rest later..."
I put the camera down and shut it off..

We finally made it back to the house and we were exhausted
I look over at her and smile
"I had fun today"
"Me too" she looked back at me and smiled back
I got closer to her and poked her nose
"Lets go out again tomorrow.."
"And do what? Walk around again?" She rolled on her back and threw her arms up
"Cant we just sleep?"
I got a little discouraged
"Oh, well, ill just go out alone then.."
It got awkwardly silent
I rolled on my side facing the other direction.
I sighed
"Goodnight connie"
"Night"

I got on one knee
"Connie, you were and still are the greatest thing that ever happened to me. I couldn't imagine not meeting you
So,"
I pulled out the ring and slid it on her finger
"Will you marry me?"
I lucked up at her with sparkles in my eyes
She jerked her hand out of mine, threw the ring, and slapped me
"nO!"
She started screaming at me and i just started tearing up but..
¡reality!
I woke up with tears in my eyes and tear streaks in my face..i wiped them off and looked over at connie
"Why doesn't she wanna go out..? Did...did i do something wrong..does she hate me now...?"
I laid back down on my side and a tear rolled down my left eye
"Im so sorry, for whatever i did"
I sighed again
"Goodnight connie"
