Chapter 21- Suprised

I dipped in the shower as fast as possible. After, I picked shorts and a simple shirt. I don't have the fashion thingy right now.

I just need to know... what happened to Angelo. Hindi ako mapapakali. I don't care if I look like a mess, not stylish or I smell bad.

Problem is.... how will I drive? I don't know how to drive. Ugh, mamamasahe na lang ako.

I get my bag; lumabas ako and waited for some tricycle driver to came. Luckily, someone did came.

Sumakay ako then I said the address. Andrei's house is near sa house namin.

Siguro naman... okay lang si Angelo. I'm just thankful na hindi sa hospital. Siguro-- he's drunk or what. Pero hindi ko parin maiwasan mag-alala sa kanya. Pero paano if kagabi, there's this accident pero pinalabas na agad siya. Andrei decided sa house na lang nila tumuloy. What if Angelo's not okay... paano kung may problem siya sa mommy niya tapos nakipag bugbugan siya then-- Urgh! Bahala na.

Tsaka bakit niya hindi sinabi sakin?

Bumaba ako and nagbayad ako. I ran towards Andrei's house. I knocked and binuksan ni Andrei.

"Andrei, where is he?" I asked.

"A-arisha ano... ano kasi..." he uttered

I might be rude pero pumasok na lang ako sa loob ng house nila.

"Supriseeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Angelo shouted.

Nabigla ako. W-what the hell is happening?

I'm speechless. I can't speak. Hindi ko alam...

"Suprise." Si Andrei.

"Huh?" I asked.

May malaking handaan. I realized na andun si Manang. The foods she cooked last night... was for this?

"Happy birthday, ugly wife." I heard Angelo.

Birthday?

All these happenings keeps on going on my mind. Kaka-alala ko kay Angelo, hindi ko na realize na birthday ko na pala. Minsan I actually don't celebrate it.

Lumapit ako kay Angelo. If you thought na yayakapin ko siya well-- think again.

"Damn you! You-- urgh! Nakakainis ka! You don't know how much I worried! Kakaisip sa'yo! Kakaisip if you're okay then what you're doing! I don't need these suprises, Angelo! I hate suprises. Alam mo 'yun." I said.

I'm embarassed. Nagskaskandalo ako on Andrei's house. Ugh.

"Sorry. Gusto ko lang naman i-suprise ka eh. Oh, di ka ba masaya? Sorry kung nag-alala ka or what. Basta! Happy birthday. Oh, eto, chocolate cake." he said then smiled

Napailing ako. Baka hindi ko matanggihan 'yung chocolate cake.

"Don't. I don't need that." I said.

"LQ" I heard Andrei whispered.

"Uy, sayang naman effort ko. Tapos tignan mo naman sila. Sayang effort namin mamili, ni Manang magluto, sayang effort nila ayusin 'yung bahay." Angelo said.
