Chapter 34- Marry me?

"What does that mean?" I tried my best to hide my wreck.

Napangiti siya.

"Simple lang naman. Hindi ka maglilibot kahit saan. Sa bahay ka lang... Kasama ako. Isang linggo lang naman." He winked by then.

I was relieved. What was I thinking?

"Ahh, so... What game?" Tanong ko.

"Basketball."

Nanlaki ang mata ako. How was I supposed to win again?

"Madaya! But you're already an expert when it comes to that game."

"Syempre, kaya nga 'yon napili ko diba?" Humalakhak siya.

"That's cheating——" he didn't let me finish my sentence dahil hinitak niya na ako papunta sa may basketball ring. Nainis ako. Did I ever mentioned that Angelo has a good manner?

"Ano? Start na?" he smirked. Napairap ako.

But Okay. I'm in the challenge. After all, it wouldn't be a challenge kapag hindi naman magaling 'yung kalaban ko. And if I am already great at a game. At mas maapakan ang ego niya kapag natalo siya ng isang beginner na babae.

"Game."

He's at my left side. Sabay kami naghulog ng token and pinindot 'yung start. Then the game went on.

I was focused on my task. I focused on the ring. Kahit papaano ay nakakashoot ako ng bola but it wasn't enough to beat Angelo.

I looked at my score, 13. And Angelo's score, 59.

Damn! He's good at this game. It's impossible to even beat him!

After the game, Angelo chuckled. Napairap ako. But deep inside even though I lost the challenge? Okay parin 'yon. That was fun Kahit nahirapan ako sa pagshoshoot.

"Ano? Hahaha. 1 point for me." he smiled. But again, I kinda hate losing.

"I'll get even, you'll see." sabi ko.

"Ahh, ano? Game na? Handa ka na bang matalo ulit?"

I rolled my eyes. Ang yabang.

"No."

"Ayaw mo na? Haha, suko na?"

"No, hindi ako handang matalo cause I'm here to win."

"Oww, feisty girl. Sige, hahayaan kitang kainin 'yang mga sinasabi mo para mabusog ka."

I raised one eyebrow at him. What the hell is he saying?

"What's the next game?" tanong ko.

He looked at his side. Palingon lingon siya sa paligid. Until he saw some thing.

He held my hand and dinala ako sa may dancing and stuffs.

But I immidiately said no. There's no way I could dance. I don't dance! Even If I did ay matatapilok lang ako.

"Ano? Atras na? Akala ko ba you're here to get even?" He smirked, big time.

"I don't dance." Reklamo ko.

"Try mo. Malay mo, hindi naman ganun ka sama diba?"

It's not that bad huh?

I believed every word he said. Just maybe. Tsaka isa pa... It's a challenge. Kahit ayaw ko, I did it. It was new to me. Doing what I don't want to do. Noon ay kapag ayaw ko, ayaw ko... Right now he changes my mind.
