Wasn't planning it, but the chapter is really long. Enjoy! ;)

After managing to slip back into my house unnoticed, I dash quietly up to my room. Locking the door behind me, I plop down on my bed, eager for something to keep me busy. I pick out a book from my bookshelf that I know I've read at least 152 times and slump against my chest on the floor. Page 1. Once upon a time, there was a young girl with beautiful long golden hair. But an evil woman stole her and locked her away, claiming to be her mother. The young girl, Rapunzel, was locked up in a tower, and spent most of her life there. One day she asks her mother, why am I to live locked up in this tower? But the evil false mother said, it is a horrible world out there, and I only wish to protect you. Do as I say and never question me again! And Rapunzel obeyed. One night she hears a voice calling out to her. Her mother's words drown them out. On the second night, again the same thing happened, and once more on the third. On the third night, she stands up, sneaking about the house. She says never to question her again, she thinks to herself. But here there is nothing to do. With many glances behind her, she left her tower. The stranger that waited there was handsome. But she was afraid, and only talked with him until morning. After promising on each part to meet each other the next night, Rapunzel climbed back into her tower. But her false mother waited there for her return, angered much to her disobedience. Her mother as punishment, tied her hair to the chair that sat by her vanity, so that she could not leave. Rapunzel, not breaking her promise, doing whatever it took to see him again. She cut off her hair and climbed out of the tower. I can never go back now, she said, and the stranger graciously took her with him and found her a place to live and they lived happily ever after. I laugh. That does kind of sound like my life. I got stuck up in my room, with nothing to do, a false and evil mother, if you could call her that. I ran into Kota, was afraid and came back, but I'm still in the stage of leaving, being caught, and getting punished. Do I get a happy ending? The door knob jiggles and opens slowly. Marie walks in and I sit up, getting ready for what she has to offer. "How's your throat?" I ask."Fine. Mom wants you." She says quietly before dragging herself back out the door. Her voice sounds like it's in better condintion.

I slowly rise to my feet, dreading my soon to come punishment, and trek down the stairs to my mother's room. "Where have you been?" She spat, sitting upright in her bed. My voice trembled. "I was spending in the woods." I tell her. Slowly she crawls out of bed and moves toward me. I back away slowly before she grabs my arm, clenching it and dragging me to the kitchen. "I do not care for your stupid excuses; do you think you can lie to me and I would believe you?" She asked, smashing a glass cup on the floor. "Kneel." She commands, and with tears streaming down my face, I obey her. The sharp glass cuts into my skin, and my arm stings from her grip. "Pick up every piece with your hands, and then go to your room." With that, she stomps away, heading back to her room. I know it will hurt and be more difficult if my hands are shaking so I manage to lessen the shaking slightly. I pick up every piece, throw them away, and head upstairs to clean my cuts. Locking the door, I plop down on the toilet seat and properly clean them. What will the guys say? I frown, my finger coming up to touch the base of my throat. Slowly I make my way back to my bedroom. I lay in bed, trying to sleep, but find myself at a loss. At least I'm not having a nightmare. I close my eyes, and eventually my mind shuts off.

I turn over in bed, looking at my alarm clock. 3:42. Ugh. Slowly I creep out of bed, and check my phone for messages. I've missed some from the guys asking if I'm okay. I realize I probably worried them by not responding. I make sure my bedroom door is locked before crawling into the attic space and pressing the call button. "Sang?" "Hi, Kota." "Is everything alright? What happened?" I took a deep breath. "I'm fine, don't worry. I just wanted to say I'm okay." There's a bit of silence on the other line, and I can tell he doesn't really believe me. "Can you come over later?" I hesitate. What will happen when they see my hands? And my knees? "Sure." I say, and hang up, throwing a slightly longer skirt on and a blouse before tugging on a hoodie. I grab my phone and silently make my way to the woods, my family still sound asleep. Slowly walking down different paths, I try and walk out some of my fright. Stopping on one of the main paths, I sit down against a tree. I adjust my skirt so that it covers my knees before pulling my hoodie over my head and tucking my hands in my pockets. Minutes later, I hear approaching footsteps. Peeling my eyelids open, I recognize Nathan's jogging figure. "Sang?" He asks stopping beside me. "Hey." I say. "You want to come back to my place?" I nod and we jog back to his house. When we get there, he turns to me. "Kota's here." I smile and nod. When we go inside, we eat the breakfast that Kota has made. Then we decide to watch some tv in the living room. I notice the guys sharing glances every time I shifted my legs, I wouldn't out my skirt and recover my hands with my sleeves.

Kota's POV

Finally I cracked. Heaving out a sigh, I turned to her. After her phone call this morning, I could tell something was up. "Sang. Talk to me. What's up?"
Her shoulders dropped in defeat. "Last night..." Her voice trailed off. Nathan clenched his fist and I gasped as she lifted her skirt to expose her knees.
