"Alright class, homework is to practice 2 full Japanese sentences. You may also wish to work on your manners." Dr. Green's eyes quickly surveyed the room. "Japanese and English." I stifled a giggle and quickly gathered my stuff, book bag hoisted over my shoulder as the bell rang. "Have a good day class." "You too." I'm the only one to answer back. Victor walks with me to my next class. The oh so dreaded gym class. I frown. "Good luck." Victor whispers. I nod and walk in, head down despite hearing the whispers. I change out and head to my spot. "Today," Coach French hollers, "We're doing volleyball." I mentally groan. Last time I stepped to play at my old school I got hit the face and ended up in the nurse's office. Not fun. I wince in remembrance. "Go find teams of five." Me and Karen joined up and gathered a team. The rest was history.

I instantly regret telling Kota he didn't have to come in and get me and that I could walk to him, by myself, and be just fine. The school gave off a weird vibe especially then as I walked alone. But I heard another pair of footsteps and slowed. "Hey Sing." "Greg." I mumbled under my breath. I did not need this right now. Not at all. "Woah, slow down. I just want to talk to you for a minute." "Please." I mutter, my words confident. "Cool it, princess." "Don't call me that!" "Oh, sorry. How about Sang Baby? Cupcake maybe?" "One more I swear." I say, stopping in my tracks. I don't know what it is but Greg calling me by someone else's nickname isn't sitting right with me. It just makes me mad in a way that I can't stand. I won't stand for this. He wants to abuse my nicknames, and mock my family, he's going to pay. "What's wrong, Ms. Sorens-" I quickly throw my book bag aside and throw a punch, landing it on his stomach. He growls but taunts me once more. I try for another punch but he holds my wrist and laughs. I can hear Kota's voice and his footsteps. When he sees me and Greg, his eyes widen. But when he tries to come closer, I shake my head. "I don't want you to interfere. I can do this. And don't call the others either, okay?" He looks torn but gives a small nod and steps back. Greg shakes with laughter. "Who's going to protect you now, huh?" I grin and kick him where it hurts most, shoving him backwards. "Me." I say, secretly proud and wholly confident. He hisses in pain but quickly recovers. He comes back with a punch but I quickly dodge and swipe his foot from beneath him. My knuckles hurt a little but not a lot. Standing back up, he manages to scratch my cheek and cause a short lasted nose bleed. Kota looks like he wants to help but is frozen in place. I dodge a couple punches from Greg before landing a punch to his stomach and back. My leg is lightly bruised from running into the lockers. I feel a slight adrenaline as I kick Greg once more and he falls to his knees. "Don't mess with me or my guys, okay? Kota, let's go."

We drove silently to Kota's as I pulled out my phone and sent out a text.Sang: meeting at Kota's house.
I waited for the numerous replies, listening to Kota's phone chime. And 3,2,1, my phone sprang to life, buzzing so madly I almost dropped it.
Dr. Green: is anyone hurt?
Victor: are you alright?
North: if someone hurt baby I will beat the stuffing out of them!
Gabriel: Trouble what happened?
Silas: are you alright aggele?
Luke: what's wrong cupcake?
Nathan: peanut is something wrong?
Mr. Blackbourne: what happened are you alright? What about Kota?I smile before replying, at least Mr. B remembered Kota.
Sang: Kota is fine and so am I besides a few bruises, a cut or two, and a bloody nose. I assure you the situation has been dealt with, will talk more about it at the meeting.
I type, sending it in, with no more replies. We sit in silence, and Kota shaking as he drives. I watch a tear slide down his cheek as we pull into the driveway, the last ones here. He turns to me. "Tell me." I say. And he does. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me. It was my job to protect you, and I failed." I smiled at him softly. "You have my forgiveness. But you have to understand that you were only doing what I asked you to." He nods, but I can tell he has something else on his mind. "What is it?" I ask. He runs his fingers through his hair. "I don't know if I can handle their reactions right now." He mumbles, and I frown. "I won't let them harm you." I say firmly. "Thats a promise. Walk behind me, okay?" He nods, and I climb out of the car, him following me to the door. I turn around before opening the door. "Are you ready?" He nods and runs his fingers through his hair once more. "Kota, it's okay to not be strong all the time." He looks up at me and smiles. I twist the knob and open the door, stepping inside with Kota right behind me. They all shout my name at once and rush towards me. Kota stays back by the door. I am placed on the couch next to Dr. Green. He checks me over quickly, asking Kota if he's injured. "Miss Sorenson. Care to explain?" Mr. Blackbourne asked. I nodded and began to explain, and I watched as in turn they clenched their jaws and fists. "Sang? Why did you engage in the fight instead of finding Kota?" I looked at each of their eyes in turn. "He mocked you. He made fun of my family." I say, clenching my own fist. Some of them raised an eyebrow. "He called me names. Your names for me, and for you to call me only. Trouble. Princess. Baby. Ms. Sorenson. He teased me, and I snapped. I won't stand for that, and so I punched him in the jaw. We were just glaring at each other when Kota came." They all looked to Kota and back to me. "Sang why is Kota perfectly untouched?" Mr. Blackbourne asked. I walked over to Kota. "Because he didn't interfere." I say, and I watch as they grow loud and start yelling at Kota, all except for Silas, Dr. Green, and Mr. Blackbourne. I move in front of Kota, and he rests his forehead on my shoulder. I can feel his tears, and his shaking body, trembling. "Enough!" I yell. They all stop yelling, snapping as straight as a rod, like when Mr. Blackbourne yells at them. I feel accomplished at getting that reaction. "Stop yelling." I say. I have everybody's attention now. I grasp tightly to Kota's hand, his other pressing gently into my back. "He didn't interfere, only because I asked him not to. I also asked him not to contact any of you. So if you're going to blame someone, I will take full responsibility." "Sang." Kota whispers. I squeeze his hand as the boys process this. Soon they start shouting again. "I told you to stop yelling!" I yell over their loud voices, and once again they quiet immediately. "Miss Sorenson, may I ask why you took this course of action?" I nod. "I know Kota. And I knew he would interfere if it got dangerous, even though I asked him not to. I wanted to handle him on my own, because you can't be near me twenty four seven, three sixty five. And if I don't have the skill to fight, I might not get away with just a few scratches and a bloody nose."
Silas' P.O.V.
Me and my brothers consider this and we all know it's true. I admire her new boost of confidence, yelling at us, standing up for herself and Kota, making brave decisions. It was quite a surprise to hear her yell, and get the reaction we give from Mr. Blackbourne yelling at us. Showing that while she can be the protected, aggele can also be the protector. I take in the way she stands protectively in front of Kota, shielding him. She looks so strong, confident. Realization dawns on me. She is not only an angel, or even my angel, she is also the guardian angel.
There you go a surprisingly action packed chapter. I was a little surprised when Sang told me that she found her backbone and was going to fight. Also, if you pay attention closely, you would see that Kota is going through a lot of mental and emotional stress that we will soon find out about. Question of the chapter is what is your favorite kind of pie? (Sorry it took so long to update) See you guys!
