Sang's P.O.V.

I walked through the thick woods, calling out North's name. "North!" "North Star!" "Where are you?!" I sighed. The forest was peaceful, silently teeming with life, no evidence of my missing guy anywhere. And then I heard it. A small sound, faintly coming from the north. Plop. Plop. I followed the noise forward, to a point where the trees thinned out. Plop. Plop. I crouched behind a bush, looking out to find a clearing with a small pond, and my North Star right beside it throwing rocks. Plop. Plop. Slowly I stepped forward, quietly calling out. "North Star?" I ask, placing my hand on his shoulder. Instantly he tenses under my touch and pats the ground next to him. Surprised, I lower myself to the ground. He takes a deep breath in, and blows it out. "The waters are still. They are calm and at peace. Until you throw the rock in. It ripples in the water, and affects more than the place it directly hits. It stays in the waters. Even when the outer surface stills. At the bottom, the stone still remains. And sometimes, when the rock sinks, it hits other stones." Puzzled by his words, I stare into the waters. But amazingly, I find meaning. "I read it somewhere. I can't figure out what it means." He says. "I am the water." I whisper. "And you are the one throwing stones. When you yelled, it rubbed against other stones. Other fears, other pains, that were already sunken at the bottom." "I'm sorry." He says. "It's okay, North. I should have told you guys earlier."
--------------------
I'm not sure how long we sat there together, taking turns throwing rocks, until my phone buzzed. It was Kota.
Kota: How's it going?
Sang: Good, I found North. The problem is resolved.
Kota: Can you head back please? It's lonely without you.
Sang: You have the guys.
Kota: They're on their phones.

I frowned and held my hand out to North. "Ready to head back?" He nodded and we walked back. Although, upon approaching the house, I heard shouting. Quickly I rushed to the front door and flew inside to find Luke and Gabe in a full out war in the middle of the room. "North? Could you get me a pillow off of Nathan's bed?" He nodded and headed off. I watched the fight, not catching most of their words. "Hey! What are you two fighting about?" I shout. They turn to me, sheepish smiles on their faces. Nathan and Kota, the only other people left, smirked. I put my hand on my hip and raised an eyebrow.

Kota's P.O.V.

I watched as she gave her signature move, placing one hand on her hip and raising an eyebrow. The smile on my face widened when neither replied. "Well...?" "We were um..." Luke scratches the back of your head. "Oh, I get it. You have the nerve to fight in front of me and don't have the guts to tell me what it's about." She shook her head. "Well. I don't want to see you two best buddies fighting ever. Ever, I mean it." North handed her a pillow and she whacked them both in the head. "You understand?" They nodded and she smiled. "Good. I'm letting you off easy." They nodded again and scurried off and we broke apart laughing. I knew Nathan caught it on camera. My phone buzzed as he sent out the video. I watched as Sang pulled out her phone, laughing before typing something in. My phone buzzed repeatedly and I pulled it out.

Nathan: Check this out!
Nathan: ----video----
Sang: That goes for the rest of you too, understand? ;)
Nathan: Yup
Victor: Sure thing Princess
Silas: Wouldn't want to be on your bad side.
North: I agree with Si.
Kota: Yes ma'am.
Sean: As you wish, lol btw.
Mr. Blackbourne: Completely.

Sang laughs and tucks her phone back into her pocket. I watch as she stands thinking for a moment.

Sang's P.O.V.

I hear Kota through my thoughts. I put up a finger, feeling sassy. Hmmm. Placing my outstretched finger on my chin, I plop onto the couch. Nathan's face blurs into view. Slowly he waves his hand in front of my face and I slap it away. Where did Luke and Gabe go? They can't possibly be up to any good. "Sang!" "Shh!" I say, slowly creeping to the doorway and watching as Luke follows Gabe, an arm full of pillows, out to the pool. Slowly I creep up behind them, and as Luke stands next to Gabe, I start to count. 1, 2, 3! I shove them both into the pool, then step into the shadows. They come up for air and exit on the other side of the pool. Perfect. "Oy!" Gabe yells. "Who pushed us?" I giggle and step out of the shadows. Wiggling my fingers at them, I take off through Nathan's backyard. I hear loud footsteps chasing me and run as crazily through the woods as I can to try and lose them. Rushing out into our neighborhood, I run to Kota's house and run through the door. "Erica!" I call, frantically rushing to the kitchen. She looks up, surprised. "Sang? What's wrong sweetheart?" "They're after me!" "Who?" "Luke and Gabe!" "Why?" I shrugged as the door opened I ducked under the counter, silent. Erica gave me a small wink as the boys ran in frantically. "Hi boys." "Hi have you seen Sang?" "As a matter of fact, yes. She told me you were chasing her." "Yeah. She pushed us into Nate's pool." She laughed. "Well then you were probably asking for it. You can have her back if you promise not to do anything back." "Okay. Deal." Erica laughed again. "Nice doing business with ya." I hopped up from the counter and took both of their hands. "Bye Erica." "Bye!" We walked out, but I had a feeling they weren't going to give up that easily. When we reached the front of Nathan's house and they claimed that they had probably already locked the door, I knew my suspicions were correct. So I let them lead me to the backyard. The second I saw them use eye communication, I knew it was time. Joke's on them, because when they tried to push me in, I pulled them with me. We surfaced, staring at each other, before breaking out in laughter and climbing out. "I'll admit, that was pretty clever Trouble." I smile. When we walk into the kitchen, North was cooking. He turned around with a frown. "You guys go get changed then I want to know what happened." I smirked. Nathan walked in, took one look at me, and turned to North. "What is she smirking about?" He shrugged and I happily skipped off to change. Today, was an okay day.

Hey guys? How's that? It was fun to write Sang's playful/sassy side for once. North and Sang's conversation was pretty deep, yeah? Anyhow, question of the chapter is....what is the definition of definition? No, just kidding. What season/month is your birthday?
